I'm going to assume that transforming in to a demon has a lot to do with your will power.

I mean think about, George was telling Ken not to worry but Ken flipped out and gave up hope. When George got scratched...nothing happened.

Note how the demon mask guy only went after George?

He already knew that Cheryl was changing so he went after George instead.

I dunno just some observations I made...

I actually agree with you there. And yes, it does make sense. It probably has to do with their soul or life force. Like you said, George had will power the fight the possesion process. So greater will power means the greater life force that the soul has to repel evil. Although, that life force cant save them from being ripped to shreds, just from being infected. I guess same thing works against vampires as well. No doubt. =) What a reallly interesting topic to think about. xD
