This is one of Avery's early attempts to find his big breakaway character at MGM, like the pig kid in "One Ham's Family" or the rabbit in "What's Buzzin' Buzzard"? Although these two never found the success of a Droopy or even a Screwy Squirrel, even a lesser Avery is still a treat.
