If only funcom pumped some money into this to revamp and re-release it. this game has so much potential and I think it was really successful when released, not sure what happened I guess it dated a bit much.

I played this game from launch for 5 years and I love it to death. Our main guild members still keep in touch although we've all stopped playing. Sometimes we pop in to check it out again. No other MMO's compare to the complexity of this game. I think these developers hit it on the head, the game is complex and so initially it doesn't appeal to everyone. Everyone I know thats played for at least a year has so many fond memories of their time in Anachy Online. Revive it with the new engine!

As a F2P game its really good alternative to Korean grinders but they have ignored the free to play population for years and now that there is more F2P games out there that are acutally catching up and are fun, it sucked the masses that would have at least stayed in AO's world away. The P2P players in this game generally don't like freebs and could care less about them and i get the impression the Devs feel the same way. The game is ghostly now and its not because of graphix more like neglect.

I dunno if the devs really don't care about froobs, I'm a froob myself and my org doesn't ever give me the impression they dislike me. There is a lot I miss out on as far as Org activity though, but they're always willing to lend a hand when needed. This game is something truly great and i'd hate to see it die.

@THEMUVA How did they neglect f2p players? F2p players get everything that isn't expansion related, like some of every content update. The game is not ghostly, do a /tell helpbot server and it always brings up over 5k players on RubiKa1 and 6k on RubiKa2, not counting the german server. And neglecting the game? Did you forgot about the booster earlier this year and the new engine coming out? Sorry but don't bash a game with lies -_-

the game is dying imo and with the new pvp balancing coming soon alot of people will quit and still no update with the new engine, this game is slowly dying ...

best sci-fi MMO ever...still loving it after 4+ years playing. =) i just wish Funcom would spend something on advertising. would kick so much ass to see an AO commercial ...just once, lol. hell I would be happy to just see the game on a shelf somewhere for sale!

Yeah I agree I want to see it at Best Buy and not the Used Game store :P They should pop up some ad's but I think AO is more word of mouth from what I noticed in game.
