Too bad there weren't more black characters on the show. That happened in the early 1990s and ended in the late 1990s. The resurge of black characters on Guiding Light happened when Rick married that young woman, Mel. That was in 2002.
@DarthSnoopy96: Yes, that was one of the actors who played Hart. I forget his name but he left the show after being in a serious accident and was unable to work anymore.
I went and read the cast list carefully and it appears they omitted him. Was that the actor who played "Hart Jessop" at this time? I do remember his face...

Great memories. I'm going to remember Guiding Light for this era, and not the disaster it became under Ellen Wheeler and her "production model."
