Is it possible with Bluefish to connect to a remote server and edit the files through FTP/SSH through the editor itself? This is pretty common functionality for other software like Dreamweaver etc.
@00bluefish00 Instead of auto-completing " mysql_query($link, $resource_id = null) " for example it would just put empty brackets, so " mysql_query() ";
@dnollmeyer Indeed, I like console and text editor but this might have that simplicity and minimalist in a non-bloated way with nifty auto-completion (usually special features like auto-completion fail horribly). this looks good! want to get it going on linux setup!!
@thedude6to6 Which browser are you using and what OS? I had to change something, too in order to get it to work. I may be able to help if the problem still persists.
Hi, I just converted to Ubuntu and I'm loving Bluefish!! I just have a question...When I'm coding the Suggested options dont appear like in your video, How do you activate them so when you are typing they appear?
Very good presentation video, it makes me want to use it instead of using Gedit for all , I will give it a try ( and surely adopt it ). Good job to the development team
i usually use notepad ++ for coding websites or php cms ta stay on touch with codes, but after seeing this tool, i'm give it try to see how it will work out with me . thank you for making it free and open source, good job.

Is there anyway to make the PHP autocomplete not include the Variables but rather just empty brackets instead?

@enticed2zeitgeist what do you mean with "empty brackets instead", what would you like to see as autocompletion?

nice video, so many useful features! :) its a great little editor, I use it a lot, along with Aptana Studio 3.
I also recommend to give Aptana 3 a try, its text editor is probably the fastest available, and has nice FTP handling. (It's also open source)

Nice editor. But I think the Windows version lacks some features.

Great introduction and congrats.
Bluefish is a VERY good editor, it can easily be used as a general purpose editor AND is graphical (no more vim vs. emacs hate discussions)
