  • That was actually pretty good for that time!

  • It's strange that his idea was essentially a mix between two popular products we have today; a blackberry and an iPad. But if you look at it. It's really an imagined iPad. The base model iPad running IOS does everything that is outlined in his Dynabook idea at about the price he had envisioned. The IPad is the Dynabook.

  • Alan Kay became an Apple Fellow. Apple subsequently produced a promotional video of an imaginary Apple DynaBook in the mid-80s. It would be cool if someone at Apple would publish it on YouTube.

  • As a child there was this cool guy that lived across the street. Little did I know it was Alan and his wife Bonnie. Go figure! I just thought it was cool that he brought me games home from his job at Atari! Alan if you ever read this, it was a pleasure to have met you. -Steven
