The police were not so gentle, dragging a lovely 76 yo man along the ground and then arresting his son who tried to help him. Disgusting. The shame of it is that i and many in town did have respect for the police, and these guys have smashed that respect. I feel no such pride in them right now, but I do feel pride in the Broome community for standing together to fight for what is right.

Military tactics were used and my friend was elbowed repeatedly in the back of the head after being slammed against a car bonnet......... Excessive force was used.
