@MrFake3000 I am trying to make this work but cannot. I am trying, for example, to map Shockwave to my Y button. Under Powers where the three dots are, I see two names for the Shockwave power. One is "SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPowe­r_Shockwave_Evolved1" and the other is just "Shockwave_Evolved1". I have tried inserting both next to Mapped Power #3 but nothing happened either time. Suggestions?

@nanbol When you get to that part, just scroll with the thumbstick, hit A, then use the keyboard to type. And remember, the stick is reversed on some menus.

Thank you for the effort, however, it's more trouble than it's worth. The weapons/abilities wheel is invisible, and you got a lot of glitches.

Guys, download XPadder, it works on EVERY.SINGLE.PC.GAME.EVER. and it's absolutely perfect. You'll thank me later.

@skullandswords No, this is just for Mass Effect 2. If you want to use a controller for tf2, go into the console in tf2 by pressing "~" and type in "exec 360controller" to automatically have the game change the controls for the xbox 360 controller. To undo it, just type in "exec undo360controller instead.

I am a console gamer at heart but I played ME1 and ME2 on pc the games are that good I delt with the pc controls. I respect pc gaming but I am very angry with bioware for not just porting the code and menus setup from the 360 when the game has a 360 pad. I still want to play ME3 but I am mad I will have to play with keyboard and mouse. I understand that alot of pc gamers prefer that setup but I thought one of the benefits of PC gaming was CHOICES in hardware and in control setup. Bioware WTF?

This would be awesome IF the power wheel wasn't broken a long with some more minor glitches. The power wheel thing makes this not worth it for me. I preferred the first games controls on the PC. That game was a lot closer to a traditional CRPG than ME2 though and the Xbox controls were clunky as hell. ME2 is closer to a third person shooter and I actually like the controller set up. The M/K controls work fine though even if I prefer the Controller for this one. Still an excellent game.

This is pretty cool. Note: I'm a noob when it comes to mass effect and am just into the game, but I'm a hard guy to please and I've given all the mechanics available! so far a thorough work out.

Tip, when in the quick menus (hold left or right bumpers) use a delicate circular motion with the the thumb sticks (stick back against edges) to cycle options - it can be a bit fiddly, but after a few trys you get the feel for it. This was the only part where I felt like I was using a work around.

It also told you to backup the other file so you can replace if need be.

Google "360 controller emulator". If the game supports the 360 pad, use this and it will make the game think your controller is the 360 controller. This is assuming you already have the PS3 controller usable on the computer. I used this method and it worked for ME1, so it'll probably work here too.
