my 8hp mercury cavitates too, trim 4 is the fastest but you have to click it from 3-4 while on plane because you barely plane with trim 4 because of the cavitating.

why do the engines sound so? it wasnt on plain when u pulled back the throttle?

Cleaver props cavitate when getting on plane. You need to back off the throttle to get them to hook-up.
