  • Is that pastor Dave from that 70s Show in the red. He reminds me of him.

  • @arcxjo Same reason we still have them, to learn what happened yesterday.

  • Some dude in Ohio just stabbed his friend for not knowing Beyonce was married to Jay-Z so....

  • @arcxjo I'm guessing it was the previous days newspaper.

  • Seinfield?

  • @mryjn420090 Castanza?...is that you??

  • Dave is the most beautiful,Kevin is the funniest,Mark is the best actor...Scott and Bruce are also great

  • from Uruguay I love dave.

  • i watched this about 15 years before i watched citizen kane... this was all i could think about while watching the movie. plus these bastards ruined the gd ending!! (still adore the kids in the hall tho!)

  • Why did the newspaper have the previous night's TV listings?

  • @arcxjo it was a weekly.case closed

  • @arcxjo He grabbed the previous day's paper. Either that, or I know they used to do that in Canada.

  • @dasheight But he grabbed it from the diner guy, WHO WAS READING IT at the time -- it wasn't just an old paper lying around.

  • @arcxjo Who knows? I've often read yesterday's paper at diners. Maybe the guy missed the paper yesterday and is reading an article from it. Dude, it's a comedy skit from 1989, first of all. So not sure why you're so worried about it, but it's either yesterday's paper that the guy up there was reading, which is a common practice, especially at diners, or, as I said, they used to put yesterday's TV listings in their papers in Chicago when I was a kid - could be that, too. Either way - it's a SKIT.

  • @arcxjo Man, you have eye for details! well done!

  • @arcxjo Weekly basic cable listings are in some tabloid newspapers.

  • No one does rage like Kevin.

  • Love this sketch.

  • Still the best.

  • @zoeyjusko Absolutely.

  • Made me think of Jake and Amir.

  • David Foley Character has a bad memory lol

  • I was half expecting the TV Guide to read "Psycho - starring Orson Welles and Joseph Cotten"

  • This is the thing I could totally see the Almighty Tallest doing. xDDDDDD

  • @Brynnabin Yeah I think so too! I wouldn't be surprised if someone took the audio clip and pasted together a bunch of Tallest scenes with the audio. Kevin McDonald's already in it, and David Foley sounds close enough to Red. ^^^

  • 11 people think it was Psycho.

  • I think it might have been Citizen Kane.

  • 11 people want a mortician

  • i was hoping dave foley was going to walk out him, leading him to tear the set apart like in citizen kane!

  • Kevin Mcdonald and Dave Foley are the greatest duo of sketch comedy

  • This is like having a conversation with a Tea Party person.

  • I remember laughing at this sketch when it first aired. I feel so old now!

  • Who were the two in this sketch?

  • @Crazy56U

    kevin mcdonald (red shirt)

    dave foley

  • @Crazy56U kevin mcdonald and dave foley

  • This is one of their best

  • this is like jake and amir lol

  • I fuckin' lost it when he stabbed his hand!

  • You want a mortician! You want a mortician!

  • The Kids In The Hall Are Awesome !!! I miss their tv show someone should show re-runs of it atleast..

  • @DONDON2013 If you live in Canada it runs on Saturday and Sunday on the Comedy Network at various times in the day, usually following sctv.

  • @Dweezilsome The last time I remember it being on tv here in the U.S. was back in 2002-2003 I have no idea why they quit showing it.Kids in THe Hall are awesome !

  • one of the best!

  • Once you know his hand's gonna get stabbed the way it never moves before then becomes really conspicuous.

  • This happened to me the other day in my philosophy class.

My friend Jordan: Who's the guy who played Garfield in the live-action movie?

    Me: Bill Murray.

Jordan: No, no, He was in Ghostbusters.

    Me: Yeah, Bill Murray.

Jordan: No, no, no. He died in Zombieland.

    Me: THAT'S BILL MURRAY!!!!!!!

Andy (the guy sitting next to me) : It's Bill Murray.

    Jordan: Oh... Thanks Andy.

    *Facepalm*

  • @TheNerdyCanuck ok big deal, now take the knife out.. will ya

  • ive seriously toyed with the idea of serial killing for the comedic value alone, let alone all the other reasons to do it

    damn phone company...

  • every single stinkin last one of us

  • @Belau1chick We Canadians enjoy very dark humour from time to time.

  • @Belau1chick Yes.

  • @Belau1chick yes, stabbing someone repeatedly after a simple argument about the title of a movie is indeed funny, and i am not a canadian.

  • "Trouble with Angels" was shot in my town. So was it's sequel "Where Angels go, Trouble Follows"

  • They did a version of this on an HBO "Sketch Pad" special that I think was better. Can't find it anywhere - at least we have the original.

  • This happened with me and my parents. They wanted to know about this television show that showed how objects like silverware and candy were created. I kept telling them it was "How its made" and they were like, "No, no that's not it."

  • This happened to me the other day in philosophjy class between me and my friend Jordan JORDAN: Who's the guy who voiced Garfield in the live action movie? ME: Bill Murray JORDAN: No, it wasn't him. It was the guy from Ghostbusters ME: That's Bill Murray JORDAN: No, no. He died in Zombieland ME: It's BILL MURRAY JORDAN: No, no. God, I can't remember his name ANDY (the guy sitting next to me): Bill Murray JORDAN: Oh, thanks Andy ME: o_0
  • I knew someone like this but I had to go Dexter on him.

  • I hope he leaves a good tip for whoever has to clean up that mess.

  • I just can't help coming back and watching and pointing other people to this video all the time, whenever they can't recall something. Hopefully they get the clue of what can happen to them if they persist..

  • Dude in the red is Pleakley from Lilo & Stitch. Dude in the green is Flick from A Bug's Life.

    Gotta love em. :D

  • Kevin was always my favorite

  • canada is one of the greatest places on earth, with this, SCTV, corner gas among others these shows kick ass!

  • @nativewizard The littlest Hobo.

  • @YogritMUN That's Dave Foley you cretin, Dave Foley is awesome.

  • @ratmankey Incredibly not so. Super forced and contrived acting.

  • @YogritMUN You realize this is a sketch show right?

  • @Rampagelil Yeah, but some sketch actors are good at being sketch actors.

  • @YogritMUN

wtf you actually have no clue about it -.-

  • brilliant sketch

  • I love how nobody in the background cares somebody is getting stabbed to death <3 KITH Rules.

  • @StarTrekkin94 The people in the background of their sketches are almost always oblivious, it's great.

  • A MORTICIAN!!

  • I just watched this about fours hours ago on the season 1 DVD. I laughed SO hard.

  • I'm going to do that now.

  • i LOOOOVE Canada!KITH RULE!!!

  • God, I haven't seen this in YEARS!!! So funny!! Thanks for posting!

  • KITH was so great at taking ordinary situations and screwing it all up. Very effective! These guys created the best sketch comedy program ever, hands down.

  • Kevin just looses it. lmao!

  • this was one of my all time favorite sketches.

  • Kevin & Dave FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • You know, I actually have a friend like that who never remembers anything and insists it isn't what it really is when you tell him. I haven't stabbed him, but I have felt like hitting him.

  • He went all OJ!

  • I love how everyone else in the eatery don't give damn about the reckless knife violence.

  • canada is awesome

  • @DpadProductions ya damn right canada awesome man ...you should come up and smoke some of our pot and drink our super strong beer : )

  • @DpadProductions Mwah.

  • Hey this is really good, but there's a skit with Foley called "You have cancer" and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

  • I highly recommend looking up the live version of this skit, priceless stuff!!

  • Comment removed

  • "Do you want 2 guys in a van to come and take care of your hand and bring you to a hospital?"

    "Yes, exactly."

    "Then you want an ambulance."

    "No I don't!"

  • One of the best skits anywhere, ever.

  • Every time I see this, I think Kevin is gonna throw the crumpled up newspaper right in Dave's face.

  • the guys in the van is called a taco truck.

or icecream truck as this is canadian.

  • idiots, it is clearly The Maltese Falcon

  • i love how nobody reacts to dave getting brutally murdered

  • Yeah, it's just like New York.

  • It was Citizen Kane!

  • I was stabbed once

Could you call me an.....ym guys in a van to pick me up????

NOOOOOOOO!!!! You want a mortician, you want a mortician!!!!!......aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh Oh the humanity.....

  • truly great. I knew i never saw so such pasty white kids in my neighborhood or possibly on the east coast of the usa...but i also knew this show was brillian even at like 12. it all still holds up.

  • the comedy sitcom "Wings" used this routine. They had a character, an old man named Carlton Blanchard who played the Dave Foley role.

  • future 90s shows stole this routine, I'm definitely sure.

  • haha :D I heart Kevin!

  • I never get tired of this clip. It's one of the best. XD

  • i happen to agree

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! ★★★★★

  • I totally forgot about when Kevin stabbed Dave's hand into the table. That's hilarious. LOLOLOL.

  • Its PSYCHO!

  • lmfao!

  • Citizen Kane! It was Citizen Kane! It was Citizen Kane! It was Citizen Kane!

  • The guy in red was wrong. The movie was not Citizen Kane. He just murdered his friend for correctly being in disagreement with him. Lucky that it's not murder in Canada if you pick up the check.

  • No, actually, it was Citizen Kane.

  • I don't think so ... it was about a old guy who was a newspaper tycoon and he had some sled named rosebud ... I am pretty sure that was Psycho! Yes, it was Psycho!

  • It.was.Citizen.Kane.

  • OMG lol anyway, am i the only one who thinks citizen kane is way over rated?
