Hey i got a webcam but my problem is i can see the other person and he can see me but if i talk he cant hear me HELP ME ASAP

@TheMrjamba123 It's either something to do with your microphone, or your settings are wrong on Windows Live Messenger. I've stopped using Messenger for a year now. It's a piece of shit. LOL

@Oceanlab2010 Hey, I'll try help you the best I can. First, uninstall every bit of messenger. Then delete the filder in program section after uninstallation. Then restart.

Then, go to the messenger website, download and clean install the program again. Then restart.

If the problem persists. Please comment back.

What version is that ur using? Cause I downloaded the néw version of msn essentials:/ and I really don't like it cause instead of just sending the webcam like urs it sends the video call and I don't like that:/

ive a logitech c120 webcam and am using windows live msngr. problem is, i've already enabled the 'show others that i've a webcam' option, and yet i dont even have the webcam icon when i start a conversation window with someone. what's wrong? is something wrong? what can i do about this??

Windows Live Messenger will no longer allow individual webcams. Now you are only able to have a video call.

With the new 2011 version, you can have HD video calling.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, the option to show your webcam is no longer available if you recenlty upgraded your Windows Live Messenger.

the reason you can't do just webcam is because they've removed it in the new update of MSN.

@KillJoyfriend I know I got the update cos my comps memory was erased and ppl kept sending invites that were apparantly "rejected" by me and I hovered my mouse over the webcam icon and instead of saying view my cotacts webcam it now says start/stop video call.

Point the cam against a black surface or put it on the floor and make the cam go black and say cam gone weird lol
