  • can i have a qusetion plz??

is it better if i'll use rhyming words or not.. then.. what will I do after having aninspiration.. will I first make the lyrics or make music into it.. please help... thx :)

  • Please do feel free to ask questions.

You can use rhyming words, but it truly depends on the situation. As long as you can get your message across you can do anything you would like with the lyrics (if you even need any).

Most of the time I come up with musical ideas before Lyrics, but many people start with lyrics first, form a melody, and then harmonize it.

    Hope this helps.

  • thank u sir.. uhh, another question sir,.. about the melody and harmony... how can I make a better melody of a song... what chords will I use?? will I use pattern or not, if yes.. what patterns can you suggest ?? .. by d way.. I truly love this segment on ultimateguitar.. when will you post the next topic?? :) thanks for all sir.. your answers truly help.. :)

  • Your welcome.

I'm not exactly sure how you can make better melodies or how to harmonize your music, because I haven't heard it before. With that said though, I recommend reading into and learning music theory. The "Harmony" books from Walter Piston are great for this.

    One simple progression I really like is this: C#m7 - A - F#m7 - G#7 - C#m7

I'm glad you like the video series and I'm happy to help. My next video should be out later this month or early next month.
