If you want the game to hold your hand the whole way through then keep all assists on but if you wanna race for real then turn off assist.Its alot more fun and realistic that way and your car performs alot better without things like tcs robbing your power to keep those wheel from losing grip.

the best way to use the Exige properly is to updrade whats under the hood. i've upgraded mine to top of the S class. handling isnt a problem and i can say its one of my better cars. one of my favs
yeah but after about a month you are going to run out of cars and then you have nothing to do other than promote the game u bought so other people don't laugh at u 4 geting a game that u complete in a month. seriosly by the 4th episode u will run out of cars and u cant boast about drive quality because there is none you cant even balance the throttle the gas is A BUTTON on ps3. in forza 3 the time u run out of cars is the time u get a life:over 400 baby. for any one thinkin bout gettin it.......
their both close consoles, i got both and they are both practically the same, the only difference is that the ps3 has the blue ray and xbox 360 doesnt but both have their own exclusives like halo, forza and many more for xbox 360 and metal gear solid, killzone 2, and many more for the ps3, it really actually depends on wut game u want but to be honest, i still prefer my pc than both consoles, but that doesnt mean i hate them. i love my consoles i just love my pc more.

exige belongs on tight tracks, not only does it lack speed to compete on fast tracks, it really isnt stable enough to come into turns at high velocity
Oh, well then. You should see MY Lotus Exige... It's a class R2|804 and goes over 200 mph and takes corners like a DREAM! And the best part is I put less than 150k in the thing! :)

This is a pretty terrible review, I've got to say.
Not only do you compare a comfortable sports coupe against a fairly hardcore sports car, you misquote the Exige's Bhp, which is actually 240, not 200.
In addition, your driving lines are rather wide, you lose a lot of speed because of your entry and exit, and you hit the brake almost always either too late or too early.
You're using traction, stability control and abs. Remove the first two and maybe you'll learn how to actually drive.
Oh my god get a life. You arent a pro racing driver don't lecture someone on how they drive in a racing sim which at the end of the day is still a video game.
All I'm saying is that the reviewer should have done their homework, and I actually do have my SCCA certification, so, I would assume while I am not a pro racing driver, I know a good bit more about proper driving than this clown.
With all the assists and in manual, all the cars feel pretty much the same on the track. To know which one has more acceleration, brakes better and sticks the road well, turn off the assists you use and then you could make a good complete review.

and of course 190bhp is going to be slower then 400bhp, but it makes up by the lightweight cornering
a maxed out version of the exige owns. i have a maxed out exige on forza 3 which stands at R3-720. Because i shed 1000lb of weight from it, and got 700bhp on it, the acceleration is insane. The only thing that will let you down when u max it out is the launch (but the acceleration makes up for it) and going around corners really fast because the car will start to get pulled to the outside and slow you down.
I thought the exige is supposed to have better handling cause of the mid ship engine. And it's only pronounced "zed" in England and possibly other euro countries. Everyone else says "zee"
the lotus is a better track car and if you just tune the engine a bit holy fucking shit it beats everything

I just plain don't like lotus. I've always loved the look but am yet to be impressed enough by one. Maybe if someone gave me one....lol

stupid review, the exige has some of the best handling in the world, car companies beg to have lotus do the steering on their cars.
The exige will still beat it on long straight courses, since it can carry speed in the turns better. This track still has some long straights, through the start line for instance. Just a fan boy liking his BMWs too much.

WHAAAT! This guy knows fuck all about cars, "I was looking for an Elise but only found an Exige which I was a little disappointed", the Exige is a hardcore track version of the Elise its lightwieght body and components and its nippy engine makes it a track god, just a heavier version of the Ariel Atom, as any Top Gear fan will know the Exige can out maneuver an Apache Attack Helicopter, how can the BMW be better when its a heavy coupe?

Yea!! And remember Richard thought the Z4M was really lairy and a bit hard to control when he compared it to the boxster. The exact thing this guy was saying about the exige....anyway cant wait for season 14!!

That was the Exige 240 Cup, totally different thing.
The Lotus Exige is not available in the game, despite it being one of the cars used by your competitor. That makes the game fucking lame sometimes.

Run that by me one more time... Are you saying that the Lotus Exige (not the 240 Cup) is programmed into Forza 3, AND is used by the computer, but the user cannot buy one at all? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Odd, in every racing game I have ever played which has included an Exige, it has wound up one of my favorites. Its an apex-eater all the way. Maybe this guy just doesn't know how to drive it.

no offense, but that review was very biased. if you are going to stage a controlled experiment, which you did, and make a hypothesis for it, u can't just change the conclusion because it doesn't support the hypothesis. so basicly what i am trying to say is that the lotus won, not the z4. live with it

also thats a M4 NOT a Z4. so he's called the M sports stock and the exige less the elise?
and of course 190bhp is going to be slower then 400bhp, but it makes up by the lightweight cornering

a maxed out version of the exige owns. i have a maxed out exige on forza 3 which stands at R3-720. Because i shed 1000lb of weight from it, and got 700bhp on it, the acceleration is insane. The only thing that will let you down when u max it out is the launch (but the acceleration makes up for it) and going around corners really fast because the car will start to get pulled to the outside and slow you down.

I thought the exige is supposed to have better handling cause of the mid ship engine. And it's only pronounced "zed" in England and possibly other euro countries. Everyone else says "zee"
