  • YOU ARE MY GOD!I was looking after this kind of curls everywhere!

    THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

  • thank you!

  • are these synthetic hair?

  • @44Greenwood44 Yes. All the wigs I use are synthetic.

  • how long will the curls last?

  • @loldoublenegatives until you straighten out the wig.

  • Is that a heat-resistant or not-heat-resistant wig?

  • @AdurnahAngel The wig I used was heat resistant. However, you can do this with a non-heat resistant wig, but don't heat the water too much. Just when it starts to boil should be great.

  • @TheRabbitTales Thank you for the answer >w< I asked this because I used your method on a heat-resistant wig... it worked, but... the curls were not like the ones in the video çAç They didn't started from the top, but from the middle... I was trying to send you an image but I think I can't ò_ò However, I don't know why they were like that... maybe I should have waited a little more...

  • @AdurnahAngel Straighten out the wig and try again. Try using a little less hair in each curl and wait a full day to pull them out. If that doesn't work, you can send me a message and I can give you my email so we can talk a little easier and you can send me images.

  • @TheRabbitTales Thank you so much!! I'll try again using less hair in each curl ^^

  • thanks! alot of good info.

  • I really hope this works! XD

  • @alice19th2 I tired it and now I must wait...I hope this works.

  • Wow this was a great result! Very helpful, thanks!

  • will this work on a cheap halloween wig? I have a very straight wig and i want loose curls in it.

  • @bunnyshoe

Yes it will, but be careful how hot the water is and you won't be able to get rid of the little hiccup at the top like I did.

  • @tajmonsta

It'll work the same way, however, still separate the hair into smaller curls, wait for them to dry, then slowly bring all the curls together.

  • how do you straighten it again

  • @Allybunz18yr

I have a tutorial on that already. Just go through my videos.

  • Great tutorial!

    This was very helpful! (:

  • How long was the wig before you curled it?

  • Thank-you so much for posting this tutorial! I've been shopping around for a wig that I've been dreading to purchase because I need to curl it. I never expected to find such a good tutorial on the hot water method! I love that you talk about ways to easily change the curls for specific styles, as I am in need of very tight curls on a short wig!

    A+, will be trying this.

  • @neuvv

Best of luck with all of it then! My favorite thing about this is it's so easy to fix a mistake. Just hot water (or flat iron) and redo!

  • Would this work on non-synthetic with the exception of the straightener?

  • @TheMissychocolate

    More than likely, yes.

  • Is this a synthetic wig?

  • @TheMissychocolate

Yes this is. It's Kakelon, so it's a high quality plastic.

  • i like the wig

  • @Misspartygirl5

Thank you. I need to recurl it when I get the chance.

  • When you're taking out the curls.. is the wig still wet? It's looking slightly.. stringy, not as soft and natural as before you put the water in

  • @yaazyy

They were completely dry. I let the curls dry over night. It's typical for wigs to have that look which is why I comb them out slightly after I pull all the curlers out. It gets rid of the wet look they tend to hold.

  • YAY TO THE BAND SAY ANYTHING =D

  • @trigunperson55

    I'm a fan. I'll admit it,

  • @TheRabbitTales Same! =D their concerts are awesome x3

  • Great tutorial! I'm going to be attending NDK's New Years Eve (I'm sure you know of it!) and I was needing a good curling video! (Great song choice too~)

  • @Gacktfangirl

I'll be there myself and I'm glad I could help with this.

I love that song so much.

  • Thanks for the tutorial, very helpful. Can I do this with a kanekalon wig?

  • @PalmerRose4 Yes you can. You can use this on all wigs really, from the cheap Halloween store wigs to the most expensive. I might suggest hotter water for kanekalon just to make sure the curls are locked.
