well. the highest note most male vocalists can hit NOWDAYS is an f# without straining and going into falsetto. But stevie, (my idol) forced me to hit an Ab and maybe an A. I know for a fact he can go about a full octave about that in full voice range.

One of my favorite songs. Brings tears to my eyes, every time I hear it. He is, by far, the premier singer of our time. Saw him in concert, long time ago. Without question, the best concert I have ever seen. He sounds as perfect in person, as he sounds on a recording.
