around 0:51 he sounds almost like he did in the 80's but then he seemed to slip a note. I still think the guy was a brilliant guitarist - I think things just got to him and he lost his way if you see what i mean...Still those flying fingers (see him live in the 80's in Germany doing Into The Arena) give me goosebumps.....!
@EUguitar rule. Steve Vai has been nominated for a Grammy 3 of the last 5 years so maybe he has a few ideas and a little bit of talent left. By the way I love the European players. Uli Roth, Mathias Jabs, Wolf Hoffman, as well as the Schenkers. They are all very very good. Fly to the Rainbow by the Scorpions is an album every rock guitar player should listen to. Do you like that one?
I have 'The Michael Schenker Story' on VHS live in Japan 1999. Mixed moments of brilliance. Saw him live in Seattle, just after that...sounds just like this!! \m/
Gibson V's and Marshalls...that is the tone!! Scorps, Accept, Rick Knotts of Rail...the S_ _T!!!

Mr. Schenker nailed it perfectly. This show looks like one of his best, but I couldn't find the 2000 Las Vegas DVD on Amazon or ebay.
