It is a rather damning indictment of our education system that the rantings of an unaccomplished junior doctor are considered by so many people to be "science".
What a man. His book "Bad Science" was brilliant and opens a world that millions of Britons need to see. Shame he isn't higher up in power as we need men like this controlling the quacks and pill pushers.
@Munro1Man The phrase that stuck out in my mind was when he called Arpad Pusztai a "joker". That's a double-edged sword because "joker" can mean something very welcome to find in your hand when you're playing cards! ;-) And beware what you wish for, Munro1Man. History is full of people we elected into power to give us "solutions" to various "problems" and then bitterly regretted it.
Well of course its their choice, but why make it easy for people to be deceived. Why are we diverting millions away from real medicine to fund a placebo?

@bobjoe177
Why not? Speed limits on roads and dangerous drugs acts, not control?

@Munro1Man it's still their choice whether or not to follow those rules you can't control what people will do even with a gun to their head
