I wish you had the official video. It's a killer. The band members are seen in crowd scenes where everyone is speeded up like in the Madonna RAY OF LIGHT vid. :D
The first time that I heard this song was on Hit Video USA, and was ranked 7th, I'm sure that in my VHS cassetes I have this video, I remember they were in a kind of subway and their faces static and everybody else in motion.... very good song.
I love this song and loved the video as well but can't find it anywhere. I've looked for years. I used to have it on a vhs tape myself a long long time ago in high school--but all those tapes were later stolen. Hopefully, I'll see the video again sometime.
i have been searching every lyric site for this song for months without any luck. Today the name of the band just popped into my head and WOW i googled it and here it is on You Tube! Thanks to the poster, you have made my day!
Never heard this song before until now, and I liked it the first 10 seconds. Love Jayney Klimek's singing on this one. Musically it reminds me a lot of the work she did on Tony Banks' Bankstatement album. It's a great piece, and lyrically it has a nice theme about being individuals. Does anyone know what synths were used in this album?
That is the reason why 1987 is my favorite year of 80s music! A whole bunch of great songs from that year. This song is definitely one of my favorites. This should have been ranked much higher than #53. Right?
thank you for uploading this!! I had this on cassette and played it to death. this was their "breakout" hit, but there was a lot of good stuff on this album.
Wow--something just made me think of this song---I saw the video only once or twice back in the day---neither this song or the group made it big here in the U.S.---but I remember thinking the twins in the group looked weird as hell, like two baldheaded aliens!
What a moving song ! I think these lyrics apply to all of us as relates to at least one thing going on in our lives that others around us are not aware of, or maybe they are, but cannot deal with it !
Due to all sorts of various busy schedules we somehow neglected re releasing our albums, so we are now happy to announce that there will be a digital resealse of "The Other Ones" 1987 album and "Learning to walk". Thanx for your support and patience
Great Band, - I'd love to get their 2nd album.
