@speeches Y'all have it but Miami never really developed it's own sound, so immigrant, foreign sounds have become sort of the norm. Dwele is classic American sound. He's the latest of a long line growing from the 50s and 60s. Miami and the tri-county area, all of SoFL really, never developed a musical tradition, like Detroit, Chicago, NYC, St. Louis, KC, Miss, Philly, even D.C. and ATL and L.A. But cats from Dade know about this. They just haven't created anything.
