  • I voted for Filbert

  • I have nothing but respect for Delbert Hosemann. As both a marketing major and someone who follows politics fairly closely, I must say these ads are some of the best political ads ever, because he never once resorted to mudslinging or dirty tactics. And the name placement angle is two-fold, not only did they make his name a house-hold name, but by not attacking his opponent- he never promoted his opponents name. To this day, I can't remember who his opponent was. Very effective and well done!

  • Nice ad.

Though I don't quite understand...why the running misstatement of his name?

Maybe I fail to get it because I'm not from Mississippi...

  • It's very simple. It's name placement. Many people when they go to the voting booths just make random choices, and the repetition of his name just reinforces the likely hood of him getting votes.

  • True, you have a point.

  • Excellent ad!

  • It's nice to see a campaign that's not bashing the other candidates.

  • excellent! best political ad I've seen in a long time.
