No, nothing beats crysis. look at the detail jungle. kz2 and gow 2 use dark enviroments so it easier to make it look good. Still crysis graphics i better. Bluray makes no difference mate

the downside to blu-ray tho is load times. there is just so much data to process. thats why load times on the 360 are so much faster. plus haveing just a good CPU isn't even half the battle in graphics processing. a PC still out performs even the mighty ps3 and it's cell processor. when they develop SLI graphics processing for a console, allowing for GIGS of DDR5 memory then i'll be impressed. untill then, pc wins

of corse blu-ray is slow but only by around 1:1.3 so its call it a third slower. i no pc has more power than a console yes on day consols "might" pass pc's as they are getting stronger faster than pc's but probably not. the reason the cell is more "powerful" than a pc chip it hasn't got more power but it is more flexable. thats why its caed to program fo it its to flexable to they hav to tell it EXACTUALY what to do (sorry abour my spelling i hav a problem with typing to fast)

actually the cell-broadband engine consist of 9 cores but to reduce cost , sony only put 7 cores AND only 6 are usable for game , 1 cores for everything else like game-proctection and stuff . different from DVD , bluray read-write speed remain consistence throughout the operation , using the new technilogy , unlike DVD which the read-write speed of the outside layer is slower than inside

Oh don't worry, just look at the first trailer for Uncharted. It looked like it was somewhere between a Playstation 2 and Playstation 3. They're not done with the game yet. And it's Naughty Dog we're talking about here. They always use real-time cutscenes instead of pre-rendered cutscenes. So what we see here is the gameplay graphics and not cutscene graphics.
