We just got word from the festival that our trailer is the winner of the 2009 Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival Trailer Contest.

We are floored. There were a number of trailers that were very impressive so this is truly unexpected.

We feel honored to be representing Philly and PAAFF with this unique & beautiful trailer.

We've had a great response so far and it's been a blast just to do it.

Wayne, Rocky, and I hope to make a longer version. There were so many elements that were created with enormous detail by Rocky that it would be a shame not to show case some of those elements. Also, Wayne was constricted to the 30 seconds because of the competition rules but we hope that after the competition is over that Wayne can develop this into a song and we can make an animated music video. :)

Part of the concept was to have people see something new each time you see it.

Just like watching a good movie again and again and again.

Wayne's Hsu's music gets you humming the tune after you leave the movie so that you could remember PAAFF even after the festival is over.

Got a chance to play this on my LCD projector at home and you get to see Rocky's incredible detail, like the Philly Chinatown arch.
