Spock is brilliant because he was portrayed by a brilliant actor. They chemistry between Kirk Spock and McCoy is classic and timeless

@VicFranklyn Leonard Nomoy is great no question. The 'Spock' in the new movie was flat and irritating because that actor is aweful. The only reason he got picked for the role was because he looks like Leonard Nimoy

Spock was great!!! And the chemistry between Spock and Bones - never matched.

Spock: "I think i may have made a miscalculation."

McCoy: "OH? This could be a historic occassion."

Leonard just like his character Spock is interesting And fascinating to listen to, no one else but Leonard Nimoy could have played Spock, Spock & Kirk had a special chemistry which went far beyond Star Trek. Long may it continue to entertain future generations.

Leonard is a genius of an actor and director, and a wonderful warm man.He and Bill have a great friendship and professional relationship.There was none of that in Star Trek 11 by JJ Abrams. The movie was a great action film but had none of the good writing or chemistry between the leads. The only great part of that movie for me was Leonard Nimoy. BTW Mickey William Shatner has a new comedy on CBS called 'Shit My Dad Says' Thurs night at 8:30PM its hilarious
