If this is just a small palette hack, it can be done with exactly the same results with PAR codes. I'm not sure which as of yet, but I'll post them when I find them.
I completely agree. However, this is something you can do with a few GG/PAR codes, and is certainly not worth making a new hack purely for this.
It is possible to completely change the level and object layouts with PAR codes, but it would be horrible to use. That's where hacks come into their own.
I specialise in PAR codes, partly because I'm not very creative, and can't make level designs, and partly because I can't understand any code I haven't written myself, so ASM editing is out.
Still, it's a fairly accurate recolouring, so well done on that.

The thing about PAR codes is that they are Extremely limited. With hacking and a bit of experience, you can do just about anything to a ROM.
