  • i am building a 1/10 scale b-17 and i am trying to find where i can get windows and cowls for my plane if any info wood be grateful

  • awesome!

  • my Favorit Plane so sexy and so fast

  • What are some of the flight characteristics? I'm going with os max 91 pumped engines and its about 53 pounds. Does your b-17 land pretty easily?

  • From the flying skills I can garante that he already crashed it.

  • I saw your build on rc scale. Very Very nice. I never caught the engines you were using. Engines? How does it fly? I'm finishing my Don Smith b-17 up with os max 91 pumped 4 stroke engines. Nice flying.

  • Beautiful plane!

  • fantastico

  • Beautiful ship...Was "Once In A While" an actual aircraft, or is this a fabricated squadron? Looks like it was really windy this particular day, right?

  • Yes, "Once in'a While" was an actual aircraft in the 100th Bomb Group based in Thorp-Abbots in 1944. It was flown by my friend Col. (then Captain) Floyd Mason. He was later shot down and taken prisoner in July of 1944, and spent the rest of the war as a POW.

And yes, it was a bit breezy that day.

  • Nice starting technique. I think I would invest in an electric starter.

  • Why do all of these large RC aircraft lack electric starters for their engines? Just out of curiosity ^_^

  • @Critter145 They do come with electric starters but it's very expensive

  • ive always wanted to have a model B-17
