dodge by using shields, then move left or right with the shield up.

The only way I have been able to dodge the wing move is by using my best player pokemon trainer. Whenever he gets ready to explode the hell out of me at the last second I push down B and change to a different pokemon. As long as your character is in the poke ball he is safe.
