  • @orcfeseda 1. You forgot to use "reply" 2. They are called internet trolls, don't take them too serious. They are at best having fun at the expense of others and I'm all for having fun. At the worst he's seriously mentally ill and making fun of mentally ill people is irresponsible and cruel.

  • @Lordgaraj

Yea my iPhone would allow me to reply to his comment :S Ah well. I'm all for fun as well, but it's people like them that just ruins most of the fun. Internet Trollers xD

  • best part is from 0:24 to 1:35

  • I want Golden Sun 4 already does anyone else feel the same?

  • hqdv

  • While we're on the subject, I really don't mind cliffhanger endings because I'm assured that the series will continue. With Golden Sun I WANT the series to continue because its such a beautiful story and at the same time, nostalgia at its finest. Golden Sun has never been a truly original series, but that's the glory of Golden Sun; it reminds us of what we used to play. The Elemental Stars were ripped right from Final Fantasy 4, for example

  • @PhazonSpear Nah, those elemental crystals existed all the way back to FF1. They're just a recurring theme in FF up to FF5, I believe.

  • @PhazonSpear Objects that harness elemental power are a staple of RPG and throw back to way before Final Fantasy was ever conceived.

  • I LOVE Motoi Sakuraba! His music is so distinctive, melodic and amaz!!

  • I seriously can't stop listening to this. I really love this song, the same as I love the Golden Sun series.

  • I can't decide which one of you two I disagree with more.

  • Lol the internet the place where cowards can act tough and get away with it. vvvvv

  • Has a sequel been announced for this yet? I wont say anything to ruin the plot but the way they left the ending to this game.....well IT NEEDS A SEQUEL!! They cant leave it like this

  • @TheOriginalSolicious Of course there's going to be a sequel. It's like a game where the final boss shows up and then just ends. It's going to continue.

  • When the hell are we FINALLY gonna' get to beat the living Adept shit out of Alex (or as he calls himself 'Arcanus')? I want to kill him so freakin' bad!

  • Oh yeah i also forgot to mention the game was too easy. Even the Dullahan fight wasn`t as hard as the last one. It took me 4 hours to beat him (mostly because i had to close my DS when i went somewhere important) The other one took me over half of a day! Im not sayin the game should be that hard but make it a little more challenging. (just a little teenie tiny teeeeeeeeny bit.)

  • Man i loved the game but honestly it was too short. I say that because they introuced psyenergy vortexs then wehn on to another story then left you hanging with the giant vortex right at the end of the game. once the credits rolled i was like AWWW DAMN WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. *waites for the next game*

  • @trentdude1 well, golden sun is known for its cliffhanger endings, although this is kinda turning into pokemon, as the basic setup in the story is the same in all 3 games, example: u have a fire adept, water adept etc. the only difference in them is the characters and minor psynergy changes, u always have a pair of villains, one male and one female, it seems like the characters were changed in each game, but given the same roles as their predecessors

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 You're comparing it with the pokemon anime and don't really know a thing about RPG, right?

  • @kztar621 dude, i know a fuck load more then you if u dont understand the pokemon situation and how this is similar, im not talking about gameplay (which is basically similar despite a few features) pokemon, is literally the same game with each release, just a different team something or other, shitty pokemon, going to gyms, finding a legendary, beating that team something or other, and then doing the elite four. with golden sun, the game is doing the same thing in terms of repeating formula

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 Then fucking explain it like that. You know, I'm no fucking clairvoyant, I can't fucking get your shit unless you explain properly.

  • @kztar621 read what i typed properly, if u actually look at it right u can see i did make my statement understandable, i said the basic set up of the STORY, not the overall game

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 You know, to spite you being an arrogant prick, your logic is entirely flawed. By the logic you state, every RPG is the same because at the end they all boil down to. Fight monsters, go to new town, get better stuff, repeat till final boss. Sure the characters that they give you are similar, but so what? RPGs usually give you a balanced hero, a brute and a mage, so I fail to see what the complaint is. Face it, party RPGs are, by their nature, copies.

  • @luminozero omfg.....u clearly dont get what im saying, im saying this series is repeating the same story set up like pokemon, pokemon u do the exact same shit in the story (and rpgs usually have different storys and characters) pokemons usually the same story with different skin, same with golden sun, saturos and menardi, agito and karst, the other two guys in the 3rd game, notice the pattern? oh and how about the main heroes in this, pretty much exact copies, of the previous ones, creative....

  • @luminozero and im not saying its a bad series, im saying its going do get shit quickly if they dont make more changes, plus the 3rd one wasn't that great anyway....

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 I have already learned that you have nothing new or useful to contribute. You may carry on with your daily business. And of COURSE they spam cliffhanger endings, it's so people BUY THE NEXT ONE.

Come on, that's basic marketing. Also, just to disagree with you more, I happened to like DD more then I did TLA, though less then the first one. I dunno why I am responding to you though, I just expect another ranting and rambling reply.

  • @luminozero people will buy it regardless of cliffhanger endings, not many games have them....and besides, not many RPG series i play repeat the same formula in every game, unless it was something innovative, but golden sun is far from original, even within its own franchise, and you are just another butt hurt fanboy who doesnt want to accept that my statement makes sense, and to a medicore RPG no less, good day to you

  • @MrDeathnotefan98

Dont like it, dont buy it! Simple, the fans will love it regardless of who bitches about repeated formulas that WORK!

  • @TheOriginalSolicious its funny that it doesn't work, this game sold way less then the other too, i wonder why? oh and i like the game, but its doesnt come close to the original, and is uncreative as the game is keeping the same cliques , i say cliques because they have used the same characters they do in the previous ones, just different skin, and its called opinion, im allowed to express it, if you dont like it, dont read it, otherwise you just sound like a butthurt fanboy

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 stop using the term "butthurt fanboys" only the worst kind of gamers use that term, now be nice and enjoy the music

  • @MrDeathnotefan98

If your gonna call someone a "butthurt fanboy" at least know someone about the things they are a fan of first rather that acting like an immature child and throwing around random insults because *GASP* not everyone shares your opinion! At the end of the day, all this pointless conversation boils down to is the same with EVERY game made.....some will like it, some wont. If the game formula stops selling the games then the developers will change it. Dont fix what aint broken

  • @TheOriginalSolicious OMFG, i LIKE the game, it is FAR from prefect, i NEVER insulted anyone, you assholes started the insults by getting butthurt over my opinion

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 Most people can't take a opinion nowdays it seems. XD

  • @xAzureIzumix oh god yes, 3 people have gotten all shitty about it :P and there will probably be more

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 Don't listen to all these asshats. They are just whiny little bitching brats who haven't reached puberty yet. I myself DESPISE the game. I played it about three times just to try and figure out why it's nothing more than an uninspired, lazy, remedial, and half-ass so-called effort to even try to complement the superior GBA games. Nothing moves forward, is new, or gets solved in this convoluted piece of crap. So let the trolls bitch about the opposition.

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 Also, I think this is their first Golden Sun game; and they are shooting their little rocks off over the visuals alone that delude their simple little asses. The whole thing's an endless pointless banter fest; you search for a feather, get fooled into doing dumb shit to threaten the world, fix that fuck up, then head back with the feather. The shitty convoluted crap of a story alone says it all. Oh - and mash A forever to win every single remedial battle.

  • @acuidad well the originals were far superior, but the 3rd is completely un original, as i have said it even uses the same character persona's that they used in the older games, bascially every villain is another saturos and menardi while the party in this is a re painted version of the other two games. with maybe only 1 or 2 characters being unique to the series.

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 I just figured I would have fun calling out all these butthurt little fanboys which is code for ignorant and delusional little fecal matters that think everyone should be blinded by their fantasies, then have a bitch fit everytime someone voices their opinion. EVERYTHING about the game disgusted and bored the hell out of me; it's hard to believe THIS is a Golden Sun game! There are only TWO things that amuse me about this crap: the music and the 'cinematics'.

  • @MrDeathnotefan98 Don't mean to spam at all, but as far as Blados and Chalis being another Saturos and Menardi, that is just a hopeless attempt at such an amazing role. They could NEVER compare. Those ripoffs are easier to DESTROY than the Tanglebloom you fight at the beginning of the game. They are a pathetic joke with no punch line; and all of the protagonists are nothing more than the most disappointing dumb fuck ass kids who can be fooled into pulling their pants down. -_-

  • @acuidad Your rage makes reading the comments worth it. No I've never played this game and never will, but damn, you sound like you lost a bet and had to shave off the hair on one half of your head. The music isn't too bad though eh? hahaha

  • @acuidad Wtf? Rage much?

If you don't like the game, WHY ARE YOU ON THIS PAGE THAT INVOLES with golden sun.

Also, go screw yourself for thinking this gam of "simple" it is for you. It's not about the "game" it's about the story and how well it's projected. Obviously the ending is weird, but it's what makes other look forward to get new game. Possibly the final series really. Instead of "beating the game" and only thinking of that objective, try being immerse into the story. Good day

  • @acuidad You talk big for someone over the internet. What waste of my time. Go back to isolating yourself in the virtual world.

  • @orcfeseda If that's your only line, then go fuck off you nobody. Remember, you're the random fucktard bitching and whining your useless shit at me because of what I said, Son; not the other way around. Like I said, I'll still do as I please and say what I please despite asshats like you getting butthurt like little bitches about it. So you are wasting your time; and I doubt you would be anything to worry about if we were face to face kid.

  • @acuidad

    Still trolling I see. Zzzzz

  • @luminozero oh yeah, lets not forget the cliffhanger endings, they spam those too.

  • Imagine composers like Michiru Yamane, Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu and Motoi Sakuraba working together on the Ultimate RPG game. The music of that game surely will be beyond our knowledge. They have nothing to envy to big musicians like Mozart, Haydn, Bach and so.

  • So, about that giant dragon in the background, where the hell was he!?

  • @MetaPhoenix770 that is a summon named azul u get when u beat star magician

  • @MetaPhoenix770

    it's the azul summon

  • I thought the entire game was just the introduction :(

Like, I thought the main game would start after we'd returned the feather to Isaac.

  • @Aure217 true this game was the introduction of a series of event yet to come. psynergy vortexes linked to m. aleph then we might get to see about the outskirt of the new Weyard, and then the Zenith Tribe and their forbidden psynergy dark(mabe also light). We might even see a rival to the Golden Sun, Silver Moon(that is just plain opinion, but it was stated in sol sanctum in GS1). so there is so much to see its better that they detail everything and take time to develop every aspect for a sequel

  • Epic game, just what i expected from the Golden Sun series, but too easy..

  • Dim Dragon appeared!

    Me: WTF LOL

  • @OgnarPliskin not the only one witht hat opinion, i expected another fireball accuracy test to be honest

  • @larrata20 Yeah, I was most surprised just at it being a mockery of one of the toughest bosses in the last game, though.

  • I may be hated for this, but i think this is the best regular boss theme of the series. I love all three of them though.

  • @hawkssuns08

I love it too. I made a ring tone out of it.

  • Comment removed

  • @hawkssuns08 why should you be hated for saying your opinion. I share the opinion as you and I also like all of the other boss themes too.

  • @WhiteKnight11000 There seems to be a little more hate to this game than the previous ones. I personally think its the best of the series. Only problems were the PONRs but thats not really a problem and the difficulty.

  • @hawkssuns08 Yeah I know what you mean. It's the same with the new pokemon games. I think it's the best one too. As for the point of no returns, I hate them. I played Final Fantasy tactics war of the lions without knowing that it had a PONR and saved right after it and when I beat the game and reload it I saw that I was stuck there and couldn't get out. Only thing I could do is fight the lass boss. That's why I hate P.O.N.R. They are nasty. I mean I had other things to do in the overworld.

  • @WhiteKnight11000 Yeah Point of no returns in open world games allways suck. I hated Final Fantasy 13 for that reason.

  • @NANOFORGE They are such a bad thing cause if you by chance miss something you can never get it again(unless you begin a new game) but I imagine you want to finish that one file first(and complete it 100%). Btw my favorite FF has been and will always be FF 4. Back to the P.O.N.R. thing I hope they make the sequel of this game with no P.O.N.R.

  • @WhiteKnight11000 Yes PONRs can be a nuisance but it depends on the game. FFT had that annoyance of doing it on the LAST mission which is REALLY hard if you are not prepared. Mother 3 did a couple POTRs like after Chapter 5 you can't go to the optional boss in the castle. Or when you go on the Limo to the last area of the game. Mother 3 pulled it off nicely because there wasn't ANYTHING necessary or valuable to get before the POTRs really. This game did it WITHOUT warning a couple times. (cont)

  • PONRs are NOT necessary especially if you plan on getting all the Djinn. But my biggest complaint was the difficulty. I am very critical of difficulty and like my games to have a good medium in difficulty but this game seemed TOO easy. In fact the whole series is easy except Dullahan on Hard and Dullahan in this game. I did like the final boss actually making you WORK for that victory though. Hopefully, they bring back hard mode in the 4th game. I have HIGH hopes on the 4th game too.

  • @hawkssuns08 I'll second that comment on difficulty. The combat in the first game was pretty easy, but this was just ridiculous. There were a lot less fights and they were almost all complete pushovers. I didn't, and I'm completely serious when I say this, lose a single party member until the final boss. Not even once.

That's without summon rushing everything, mind you.

  • @hawkssuns08 So do I- one of which being the super-major-uber boss fight with Alex (I mean seriously, it's about f-cking time we get to kick his ass!)

  • @hawkssuns08 I couldn't agree more whith you, it has the perfect mix of rythmic(why we love so much goldensun'S music) plus that epicness and sense of urgency, plus a "building up" part.

  • @hawkssuns08 I totally agree!

  • If I were to rate Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, I'd give the music a 10/10 for being awesome, the combat a 7/10 for being exciting and challenging but kinda repetitive, the story a 10/10 for being original and interesting, and the puzzles a 6/10 for sometimes being a bit too easy, and its not helped when you get the insight glass which just gives away the answers to some of the puzzles. Overall this is probably the best DS rpg ever.

  • @ankindo You shouldn't blame the Insight Glass since it only tells you the tools to use. Instead of blaming the tools, blame the puzzle developers for being lazy.

  • Tyrell is much more baddass in the concept art than he is ingame. I wonder what he was like in the early concepts.

  • @Lishy1 He was black.

  • One thing I graded this game on was it's battle music, and this deserves an A+.

  • @SuperMissile What!? So it's not worthy of an "AAA" or an "S"?

  • @JenniferReturn I just use a standard grading system. I'm a gamer, but I'm not ravage about it.

  • @SuperMissile I do too.

  • @SuperMissile On a scale of one to ten i graded the game as a Q.

  • I was going to ask lunardragon2607 to extended it. Look like you beated him to the punch.

  • I wish they used this more in the game, this theme is just awesome!

  • BEST BOSS THEME EVER!

Shit, this is really the best. No point with FFIX or Vi.

  • Nice artwork, where can i get it? :O it'look great on my desktop!!!

  • This is quite cool and really captures them hopefully hard and few boss fights of this game!

    Thanks for extending this! :)

  • This theme is better than the normal battle theme.

  • @RayDiTutto66 Boss themes tend to be :/

  • @SupremeDirt: True, but I meant more than usual. Dark Dawn's battle theme didn't really sound like a battle theme to me.
