If these polaris 400's had a real gearbox, with 5-6 forward gears, they would be sick. They still are a sick quad, but theres nothing like shifting a real 5-6 speed tranny 2-stroke.
If i had the money i'd get a baker trans for a harley or something, and fabricate it up on a 400sport, just imagine how fun it would be. The stock belt drive system wastes to much power i think.

HSP cylinder, wiseco piston (mine was taken 0.040 over), high compression head, PSI pipe with DG silencer, Boysen reeds and larger carb, fully clutched spinning 25inch tall tire in the rear. thing was fucking sick! only thing i could compare it too was a suped up banshee...reliable? not likely, but it was sure fun
That pipe sounds so much better than my 10hp AAEN Top End pipe! The AAEN pipe will make you go deaf, I'm starting to wonder if a little less power would have been a better trade off!

i have the hpd Trail mod pipe, and im kinda regretting it.. yours is the race mod isnt it?
