I have to disagree and say what a good car the Tredia was. My mother had a Tredia 1.8 SLX. We had the car from new in 1984 and it was fine until she smashed it in 1998.

This was in South Africa, so I can only speak for the cars there. Most of the Sigma products in SA were of decent enough quality.

The Mitsubischi Cordia Tredia are cars that Where build not in Japan but in a very cheap country , and for the europe cars they had to buy french steel and that has made this car in Europe a disaster .

Not for the cars that has a special treatment with underbody prot. and ml spray in the pannels inside the car.

The Lancer F was also a bad car in those days.

Rust was a big problem.
