Granted, in TODAY'S context, the line of "Gay happy meetings" can result in some rather immature jokes, they're just that--jokes. Most of the people who crack those jokes are probably aware that, when this song was made, the word "gay" meant something COMPLETELY different than it does now, but just want a laugh.

I think that this is the best version of this song ever made. There's just something about Andy Williams' voice that makes it oh-so enjoyable!

@closer2192 A Christmas Carol by:Charles Dickins made it a part of the Christmas. In the story three ghosts visited a man named Ebeniezer Scrooge who was unhappy and stuff and apparently the story became "scary" but really it's just about teaching a man to be happy during the holiday season.
