If I would have heard this piece and asked to guess the period it was written at, I would have betted upon the beginning of the century rather than it's end
I see Life, Death, and Time. I wonder what was meant, or if the painter merely was displaying three related symbolic subjects for the sake of depth in alternative to fruit and flowers.
