  • no the ice takes about a week to make. layers of water over a amonia floor. the ice stays there all season and is covered for other events. turkey baster is warm water to keep the posts in place. hope that helps;-)

  • A couple questions..so, I assume the ice is pre-frozen in a standard size block, right? How about the lines? Is the same ice kept for the same place all the time, with the lines on an under-panel always used at the same place? Also...I went to my first hockey game...what are the dudes doing that come out with a bottle and a turkey baster, and they keep checking where the goals attach?

  • WOW! This was just awesome! I was a bit mistaken until reading the post below -- I also thought they (the Force) were in Downtown Atlanta. I'm just happy football season is back. :)

It was nice to see the hockey area set up. I had always sort of wondered how that worked.

  • with permission you most certainly could

  • aye could u take vids like these at the phillips arena in atl, or just from this arena??

  • I thought the Force played @ Philips Arena in Downtown Atlanta.

  • It's been a back and forth kind of thing. we had them 5 years ago, then they went downtown, then they came back to Gwinnett this past year.
