Totally agree with your review! I just received Black xs and my GOD, this has to be the most seductive scent I have ever smelled!!! I see no problem pulling this off even up to age 35, and It has a very masculine undertone, but again can be unisex. The oddest, strangest fragrance I have ever had, and my new FAV in my collection! Extremely unique!

@EtherMagic The unisex thing is actually something a lot of guys complain about. They don't like the sweet fruitiness. Its definitely one of the more unique mainstream designer frags. I wore BXS religiously for about 6 months till I discovered Prada Amber. I still have a soft spot for it though. Thanks for watching, glad you like it.

Interesting head to head video. I just had a small vial sample of Black XS. I thought that the patchouli note got kinda intense in the drydown. Not sure if it would be better from the bottle or not. But I think Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense is kinda similar to Black XS. I prefer Intense though, since the drydown isn't as dirty, but still is dark and fruity.

@bpwool I have a few sample vials of CK EI, but I never think of wearing it. I do remember it being fruity though. I don't too much patchuli out of BXS, but I haven't properly worn it for a while.

I like both fragrances...I don't know why, but I sometimes feel weary about BXS, because of how sweet it is, and not wanting to come across with too feminine of a fragrance.

I hear woody oriental quiet alot. Could you explain to me what defines woody oriental?

@topgear1138 Sure, Woody and oriental are both olafactive groupings. They help you get a sense of what a scent will smell like. So 'woody' obviously has noticeable wood notes and 'oriental' usually means something has spices commonly from East and South Asia i.e. vanilla, licorice, safron, ginger, nutmeg etc. So, a 'woody oriental' will likely have a strong wood smell and also spices. Hope that helps!

I have to say that i like VMOF, not love it but like it. I owned black xs two years ago or so. I bought in summer, which was the wrong season to wear. All i remember from BXS is the strawberry creamy note with a nice dirty note in the background. Im thinking hard how are these two related? I have to sample BXS again to make a fair judgement. Even so, i still cant wear BXS becouse i live in extreamly hot weather. Maybe summer nights i guess. Gr8 review Krist & thanx alot.

Yeah I give xs higher points on uniqueness, but I have to pick versace for myself since I'm over 30 and it suits me better. Great episode

@silverpunk2427 To be honest, I don't wear either very often any more, but they are both quality, well made scents. And, yes, XS is for a younger crowd for sure, but I have a soft spot for it.

That's strange. I think they are totally different in like all aspects. But everybody has a different nose I gues... I like both fragrances. Black XS for the colder weather and of course Eau Fraiche for the warmer seasons. I did not know they had the same perfumier. Now I have a cold, so can't smell them out again, but will when the cold is gone. God, I hate having a cold. It sucks in every way, lol.
