  • I miss Mic Todd :(

  • @NemethBooshi He is so talented.

  • mayo deftinwolf definitely did.

  • really amzing that this has so many views. you're awesome for posting this.

  • Beautiful

  • awe inspiring.

  • They just always get better live.

  • This song is so amazing, he just kills it.

  • This song really chills and blazes up right into my fucking spine.

  • @htennekipanac1993 NO, thats your boyfriends penis slamming into your turd cutter

  • seriously the one who disliked it fuck you

  • @fruittymonstah and his two water-headed friends

  • Claudio had Explorers of every color in the fucking world D: jaja

  • I love the keys in this version, it's nice how they keep breathing new life into all their old songs, keeps things interesting.

  • all of there songs = awesomeness that no one can resist unless they are either stupid or deaf.

  • I didn't think this song could get any better. Then somehow that bit of keyboard in the beginning managed to do just that.

  • As much as it is impossible to pick a favorite Coheed song, I think the overall composition of this one sums up the band and the story so well. Great stylistic changes instrumentally, flawlessly interweaving guitars, cryptic lyrics, all leading up to a heart pounding finale.... Can't ask for much more, really.

I hope the latest Mic drama doesn't kill the Coheed creativity. We'll miss ya, Mic.

  • @s92dx we'll miss chris too .

  • @matthewsinist3r at least they got josh back

  • Come on, why did Mic give this up?

  • @TheBrassMunkey Just goes to show the grip of Addiction and what one will do to satisfy it.

  • this is one of those songs that have that "everythihng will be alright" vibe

  • @TheNick394 Amen to that brother

  • "Dear, Mari-oh" lol Claudio's enunciation is always different <3

  • This song was my comfort on so many walks home. I almost cried when I finally got to hear it performed live

  • @pintsizedadult you know what?? that's i do excactly the same thing, bro :)) but they didn't play this when they once came to finland which is a shame :((

  • Wes Styles us now my favorite keyboredist

  • This is no doubt my favourite coheed and cambria song!

  • There's something bizarrely relaxing about this performance, I think...

  • @Amarant1994 i think thats the song in general. always seems relaxing to me.

  • @Ician100 Typical response. Obviously you don't get what I'm talking about here, because if you did, you'd agree instead.

  • This kind of obliterates the album version.

  • YES!!!!!!!! ORGASM

  • i love how the guitars ring together so fricken pleasantly in this song, even if its in a lower key. seriously its like some of the saweetest guitar riffs i'v ever heard!

  • man, i just now discovered this event on dvd on wikipedia, and wow. nuff said, before i state that it was probly mad triumph to have tickets to an event that this band plays every one of their songs in exact order of which they are listed on their albums one night at a time <:D

  • Not one dislike, That's exactly how amazing Coheed & Cambria is. <3

  • Their recent Second Stage Neverender tour--the shit. So fucking good. Free encore show some time. It's on their Facebook. I've got to go to that.

  • @gladiators2037 it blew my fucking MIND

  • Why don't they just make Wes a full-time member?

  • I got it up to a nice 200-0 ratio.

  • these guys are so freaking good live. too bad i don't like their newer albums as much (they're still good, but not as good)

  • The world's not big enough for the both of us, when we live in the same town.

  • Mic's bass work = amazing here.

  • Ah. 0 dislikes. just the way I like my coheed and Cambria videos

  • haha @ 2:19 the guy tries to get a feel and Claudio starts laughing.

  • @cecilwhiley haha the security guard is like get that shit outta here!

  • I can't count how many times in a row I just watched this, everyone in this band is truly underrated at their respected instruments. I feel that Travis and Mic don't get the attention they deserve.

  • best band i've heard in may years

  • I love this song so much...... It's so sad, without being over dramatic. Not to mention the guitar parts are so well intertwined.

  • they are really good performing live...there's not much difference between studio version..

  • maybe my favourite song...well all the Co&Ca songs are fuckin kick-ass

  • 2:19 that person was so close... yet so far.

  • @GigaLlama hahahahha

  • I missed the days when people posted actual comments on Coheed videos, instead of "Zero people thumbsed this down, know why guys? Cuz Coheed is perfect. Give me thumbs up for my hyperbole." Or, "Claudio is god, who agrees with me?" or "Coheed forever, Justin Beiber sucks loololollool".

  • @Apocol0id Where people actually comment about the video or the band, instead of saying things just because they know people will like it

  • @CoheedBojarzin Its gotten to the point where no one bothers to write anything at all. All they say is what other people say. Flurries of F-bombs to enforce their enthusiasm, meaningless exaggeration to get people to reply to them. Here, I'll write one. "THE GUITAR AT (insert time code) MADE ME ORGASM! THUMBS UP FOR THAT LOL" Its just meaningless drivel. Is that what Coheed fans are like? I kind of figured a smart band would produce smart fans.

  • @Apocol0id Exactly! I used to be able to read comments of people discussing what they thought of the story, or about actual aspects of the playing, "not, WHOA CLAUDIO PLAYED WITH HIS HAIR", or something like that. We all watched the video, we saw it for ourselves... Also there is always comments about how there might be like, two dislikes, and people make some thing they call a pun about the amount of dislikes, by saying relating it to the lyrics of the song. People need to get some sense

  • @Apocol0id Yeah, I agree with you guys but it is still annoying to see paragraphs about it. Your not gonna change anything and you guys look like the idiots....

  • How many bands do you know play every song they have ever recorded on an album live? not that many. i think that in itself proves just how amazing Choeed really is.

  • Even Wilhelm Ryan couldn't resist liking this video...

  • @silentearth9000 Well this is the song about Mariah dieing, and well I think receiving a severed head would cheer Wilhelm up a lot :P

  • No dislikes. Why? Because Coheed & Cambria are perfect.

  • all of coheeds music is awesome, progressive music means making changes, but they have always been about the music and about the fans; how many other bands do you see out there being bold and brave enough to even put a story into their music, include two female back up singers as part of their tours, and always put their hearts out on the stage? maybe YOTBR isn't your favorite CD or one you like at all, but you have to respect that they are staying true to themselves and growing as artists.

  • @idreamofyou1989 I agree. And the more I listen to it, it kinda actually grows on me. Still, Second Stage Turbine Blade is the best, followed by In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3.

  • @idreamofyou1989 beautifly put. i love you lol

  • Coheed is the ultimate band, every album the recorded is better than before album

  • the bass at 1:37 is sooo sick mic is amazing

  • Comment removed

  • when eye meets eye, be calm.

  • 150th like babyyyy

  • BOSTON 4/25 CANT WAIT!!!!!

  • @BloodRedd got tickets to that show also. live six hours away but thats nothing to see this show!

  • @BloodRedd SAME

  • pretty sure that was Boxxy crowd surfing right before the piano solo near the end.

  • What's with the Justice-esque cross on the screens?

  • The world's not big enough for any other band besides Coheed and Cambria.

  • fuckyeahnodislikes

  • this song always reminds me of the light and the glass lol im learning to play it i just love the groove

  • i love all 5 albums equally but i reckon claudio writes his best stuff when he is sad , since the first two albums are essentially about nikki owen then he met chondra and you get the later works

  • @scarbaras well, GA1 i thought had references to troubles he was having with Chondra (IIRC, welcome is about Chondra..), and NWFT was written when the band had a questionable future (Josh and Mic had left the band). So those are pretty sad times in my book haha.

  • 3:56 AND BEYOND MAKES ME BUST A FUCKING LOAD.

  • this song is so perfect

  • i love the way this song sounds in the original recording, sometimes their performances can't even top it, I love this song, I thought it was a perfect way to end Second Stage which is my favorite album.

  • @Dvicious I totally agree w/that statement 100%

  • @Dvicious

Yeah man. I mean, for the longest time I regarded In Keeping Secrets as my favorite, but... for the past year or so, SSTB has definitely topped my list. It's just got so much feeling and these awesome little intricacies that make it absolutely perfect.

  • get rid of the fucking keyboard

  • @transik4you fuck no

  • @transik4you If Claudio likes it.....then i shall too. Don't you insult the Wes

  • 2:01

Mic looks so chill there xD

  • @Vicron

    yeah bro. let's LAX hahah.

  • They should make Wes an official member! He's amazing. But I know he does his own music as well

  • 3:57 is so epic.

  • @Hooktonnfonics

    you are

  • coheed the best there ever was the best there ever will be

  • i love the bass in this song. go mic

  • @guitartist22 Capitalize his name for he is a God, lol

  • I am convinced SSTB and IKSOSE3 are the ones they'll be remembered for. The good apollos are great efforts, black rainbow is unlistenable, but these were the days. These are the albums that take me back to freshman year of college.

  • @amcint01

Ya I really haven't listened to black rainbow that much at all, nothing has grabbed me yet I'll have to re-listen several times back to back to dig into it deeper. I think good apollo is actually very good, but I had to listen to it more often that their first two to make it stick and the last four songs are definitely amazing

  • @dummbatz48 My thoughts exactly

  • @amcint01 those are actually the normal, initial reactions, but the progression of their albums, they grow on you. 1st time i sound-tripped the black rainbow, it was definitely new, like as if claud's voice veered away from the usual high pithces. but take your time listening to each track, the words, the stories behind them. it really does grow on you. still cant believe i'm loving all songs from 5 different albums by the same band. how often does that happen.

  • @pageperpage That happened with me as well and I am a very skeptical in judging music.

  • @amcint01 agreed...newer stuff is ok but IKSSE3 and SSTB are so sublime

  • @amcint01 black rainbow wasnt that bad you just have to realize that it was still decent but the other albums before it were untouchable because of how godly they were. I still support them 100%

  • @amcint01 the willing wells were by far their most memorable

  • @mthompson3313 Nah man! The VCs and 21:13 are for me.

  • @DavidRayT Velorium Camper FTW!!!

  • @mthompson3313

SSTB and IKSOSE3 beats any of their other albums.

  • @mthompson3313 i like the velourium campers

  • @amcint01

i would love to believe you but the first good apollo will always be there most remembered......this is my favourite song actually and will be but the reason good apollo 1 is so good is simply because of the musicianship involved, its a perfect album, as SSTB and IKSOSE3 are as well, but good apollo is more commercial and therefore has and always will have a bigger fanbase.....alot like the black album with metallica - it's not there best but everyone knows that one unforntunately.

  • @amcint01 I don't know, I think Good Apollo 1 will probably be their biggest album. It was mixed perfectly, it's epic in scope and scale, and it has their most popular single on it in Welcome Home. I would put Black Rainbow on bottom, but it's not unlistenable. Yes, it has some pretty poor mixing, and other decisions kept it from being great, all of which I blame on Atticus Ross (he axed Chamberlain!), but it also has some pretty good songs like Pearl of the Stars, When Skeletons Live etc.

  • @gbpackersfan42 I would agree with your list I would have listed the Penelope (as Shabutie) as better than YOTBR as well .

  • @amcint01 GA1 is one of the best musical recordings in the existence of existence. Sorry to bust your bubble. Also, if you weren't such a dickface, YOTB would be completely "listenable". DIAF.

  • before i watched all the Neverender performances there were songs i didnt like on the albums.. now i love all of them and listen to them over and over again!

  • @AndyThreeToes Same here dude. I don't think I was into half the songs I like by them now, before I bought this DVD.

  • "We'll lie here alone; locked the children in the floor!"

F*CK YEA! With each listen, I come to love SSTB even more.

  • Mic looks so epic at 4:08

  • Their first album is like the most amazing thing in the world to me.

Don't get me wrong, I've loved all 5 thoroughly, and made love, too...>_>

but second stage is just my absolute favorite. it gets me everytime. and to hear them still play it amazingly after all this time is even cooler.

i mean, i really liked his higher pitched vocals from back in the day, but he's mastered his voice so much now that i can't complain a bit.

  • @ChaostheClown it's because its so simple and stirs the imagination so well, the beats are simple, the guitar is great but not overdone, its all like a lullaby of prog rock.

  • am i the only who noticed?

at like 2:20 i think one of the fans makes him laugh i foind it funnnnyy haha

  • @gb714us ya i've noticed it. its kinda funny when that happens. The starland encore when he plays The light and the glass (best version of the song live) he laughs multiple times from the crowds remarks. I believe one of them was "I WANT YOUR BABIES CLAUDIOOO!!" hahaha

  • @WalrusWarrior08 And that was a man that yelled that out!

  • @WalrusWarrior08 he's just a laid back guy. they all know they're great musicians, they don't really need to prove that [even though they do night after night] so Claudio can have a light heart n laugh about odd things taking place in the show, or even his own quirks [i've seen him laugh at himself a lot in his earlier days if he'd mess up or something for a second]

  • @gb714us i noticed it to, i lol'd

  • i don't think many girls know who coheed and cambria is

  • @nanozone11 The smart and cool ones do.

  • They tune to Eb because all of the third album is in that tuning. So they're probably used to playing all of their regular gigs in that tuning.

  • Coheed and Cambria is def one of the greatest bands of our time.

  • @TUROPHILE768

    Nope. Of *all* time :)

  • @slash0777 haha very true

  • How many songs do they play in a concert? 10>>

  • @hillybrushpro These shows were entire albums from start to finish.

  • Hmm.. I don't like the synths.

  • One of their best songs easily, they dont have a single other song that sounds anything like this.

  • The world not big enough for the both of us is a death threat I LOVE IT!

Fight on fire fight on fire

  • you never see this song live, by far, the one song that sticks out, after these seven years, dear mariah, the worlds not big enough!

  • the end of this songs and moments like it bring me to the verge of tears from the sheer glee and bliss from the awe. soooooo epic

  • Wow, They've actually got that clapping thing to work. NICE.

  • Is it me or do the guitars sound flat?

Im a HUGE Coheed fan but i really dont like this performance, they probably shouldve have tuned better. Regardless thy're still one of the best bands out right now, in any genre

  • Well.. technically speaking, they are flat. They're tuned to Eb as opposed to E standard on the album.

  • @AgowTisro why would they tune to Eb???

  • Easier on Claud's voice. It's an easier key to sing to for males. A lot of bands down-tune on live performances.

  • they tuned lower than usual cause of claudes voice

  • I love it when they go into epic mode at 3:56...granted the whole song is epic, so I guess you can call it super-epic mode.

  • That must be a built-in module on their guitars. There's the Volume knob-Tone-Epicness knob.

  • this and delirium trigger are by far my favorite songs on second stage. i dont know why, i cant explain it.

  • 4:56 the crowd surfers are like souls

    5:00 please don't go to the light ! ! ! :P

  • its official

coheed has become a band..... thats larger than life.... therefore making them.... lifeless monuments

  • @asscockballtits92TWO its BEEN official. This only proves it to the non believers

  • thank god you couldnt hear the audience trying to clap to the song ahah. love these guys.

  • guna see them april 22nd in charlotte!!!!!

  • Me too! Can't wait!

  • I'll be in Atlanta on the 23rd! Their 2nd show after their new album release!!!

  • See you there!

  • NEVERENDER = EPIC!

  • i keep the neverender dvd disc one in the disk drive in my computer at all times, im constantly listening to it.

    amazing!! (:

  • i love the keyboards in this version :]

  • what part of the amory wars does this explain?

  • @shabutieprimusfolyfe the verrry end of second stage turbine blade when mayo slit mariahs throat and ryan cut off her head and in the comic he says "Dear Mariah the world isnt big for the both of us" (: hope that helps

  • Thanks dopeyjr33 i got the amory wars for mah birthday but i havent fineshed it and i also lod vol 2 issue 1 so thanx

  • This is Mariah and Jesse battling it out while leading the rebellion against Ryan and Mayo. I think it talks about the times between the battles and before the fighting started

The "when eye meets eye" part is definitely the activation of the Monstar Virus and the ensuing chaos between Coheed and Cambria

"Children in the floor" are Coheed and Cambria's children, already dead at their hands

That's as much as I can tell from reading the forums and what little I've seen of the comic so far

  • i think this songs lead guitar sounds a lot better live, i dont know, i think its just the effects

  • The second stage turnbine blade and in keeping secrets of silent earth 3 were the best albums coheed and cambria put out nuff said

  • Yes i agree. Nuff said

  • This is my ryme(y). I like it.

  • Smart ass comments could cheer you ope.

  • Did anyone else have to change their boxers after hearing this? fucking AMAZING energy in this one,and im ashamed i missed it T.T

  • i really dont understand why people dont like the title, since when has their title have anything to do with how their music sounds?

  • I'm surprised they still remember how to play songs like this after the constant shit fest of NWFT. I fully believe that Josh was the only component keeping them from crumbling before, and now that they have Pennie they don't care. Year of the Black Rainbow? Are you kidding me?
