Haake just did it faster and for a whole song with some interesting herta variations in Bleed. First time I heard a herta and loved it was when Phil Collins planted 5 in the middle of No Self Control by Peter Gabriel in 1980 with that unmistakable tomtom sound of his ( at about 2:02 in watch?v=beQ7YrjLJ2U )

Dudes, this sounds NOTHING like Meshuggah!!!!!!!!! the only thing similar is the tuning, but I don't even think that is similar. They sound much more like Korn, if you're only looking at the fact that they have seven string guitars. I am digging this style, much more groovy than the Djent/Thall bands that are rearing their heads lately. Huge thumbs up!!!

But lets get real, these guys can't touch Vildjarta or Keith Merrow, there aren't many who can, however.

I can see you're trying and know how to play your instruments, but most of these riffs just lack dynamics to me. The first riff sounds like something out of a Soulfly or Watcha album and not even the good drumming, decent soloing and bass tapping are enough to make this stand out.

One of the guys is using a 7, one is using an 8, it seems to me like they're both in standard tuning, seeing as how the 7 is being played on the bottom string while the 8 is played on the second. The bass can also play in the same key with being tuned the same, in case everyone forgot.
