I took pictures of this same rainbow in parsons Kansas on the 23rd, the day after the tornado, I uploaded them to Photobucket, I was born(at the st. Johns there in joplin) and raised in joplin and have never seen anything like the tornado that struck or the double rainbow that followed.

This was around sunset after the Joplin tornado system had passed thru Springfield.. I turned around just casually looking to the east--

Whoa ! A big double rainbow.

It would go on and on without pause..just higher and lower in sound

My cousin often speaks of the time he got caught up in a tornado in the Midwest about 10yrs ago.
