The driver is pretty good, his clutch was giving him all kinds of grief. He swapped it out and it shifted much better! Then he put a D-1SC Procharger on it.

lol still cracks me up to this day that ppl hate on the vette when they're fbody guys. In vids like this I can't lose. LsX is LsX imo. Its all about the motors they're representing. And I love them all. Hell I even still got love for the LT1 =P. GM does marvelous things with the pushrod. Things not many if any can or have done. No matter how you turn it, the LS series of motors are masterpieces.

Im a fan of them, but come on, its a motor with cubic inshes, big crank, cam, heads carb injct.. that alone is 500 horse, now set up a roller engine and u got fukn lightning in that vette, or camaro. !! even alum. 6 cyls. can be built to the hills with out any boost and torch the highways.

@tastings4life you missed the point, im talking about out of the factory with what platform you are given to work with, 15 degree angled factory pushrod motor that can breath like a 32 valve putting to the ground what it does stock with a single cam is nothing short of impressive even in todays new standards. if your car is to slow now to drag race people ie."v6 camaro boy" you can go practice drifting. it will help you get used to your car. and so you know what to do if you spin out with all this power in our ls's.

The 2002 Z06 came with an LS6, not an LS2. If it is and LS2, why have a stroker LS2 when you could have a stroker LS6 with more power?

Whoever is driving that Camaro needs to get something with a lot less power (like a Honda), and learn how to shift before puting an F-body to shame.

A stroker LS2 will make more power than a stroker LS6 because the LS2 has a 4 inch bore vs the LS6 3.9 inch bore.. which not only increases displacement, but allows the use of bigger valves which help a head flow more air, which = more power.

The post description SAYS the SS was having tranny problems. Z O SICK posts on other sites and posts losses right along with the wins. Very respectable. The Vette's nasty, too, but I really would like to see more of that SS in action. It looks as if he could hand Z O SICK his ass from a dig or just about any roll if he wasn't having tranny problems.

First - It's not a Z28.  Unless the owner put the stock SS spoiler and hood on a Z28, it is a SS. Second - It IS a 6-speed and they SS was having transmission problems.
