@anonmonen You mean with a comment like that I should be saying 'Walkin' the mile, walkin' the mile walkin' the green mile......'. Hay having had experience of hospital food recently I have to say the ox tail soup is not bad, (I didn't go much on the leek and potato)!
@bellboy222 absolutely...try learning what "striking" means. what a pile of old rubbish. Scrap all these "Mickey Mouse" rings & put the money into "proper" bells
@pretorium Well considering these bells were cast from metal from a complete ring of eight that sounded like shit and no-one wanted, I'd say money well spent...... "Mickey Mouse" rings as you put it (Although I fail to see a cartoon resemblance here) Can be a valuable aid in teaching ringing, as well as lots of fun, if struck well! Needless to say this band had probably never rung on a mini ring before therefore the striking is appalling.
Any videos of the 'other' Waterloo Tower (Birchington, Quex.)?

Of course its not - They were cast by Richard F Bowditch! The caster of most mini bells!

FIRST COMMENT! WOOOOOO!!!
A fine ring of eight. Would it be a stupid question if I asked you who cast them???

Aah. Is this the company you work for?
1BODGER95 2 years ago
Well I work for Matthew Higby and Co, but Richard is a foundryman by trade and casts bells up to 2cwt solely for our company.
