@crowbarfreeman it depends on what you want to do with it. Macbook air has a slower processor, but it could be faster be because it has a SSD instead of HDD. No moving parts. And remember there is no DVD drive on the macbook air. Macbook has a longer battery. They both have 2 GB of ram and can be upgraded to 4 GB. With the SSD you dont have worry about bumping the HDD while in a car because there are not moving parts.

@crowbarfreeman First, the Macbook Air 11 inch is the same price as Macbook white. Just pointing that out. It really depends what you're gonna use it for. If you're a person that likes to have light laptops, get the Macbook air. If you're a person that doesn't care about weight and uses laptops with continuous use, Macbook white. Also, since the Macbook Air is thinner and such, it's probably gonna have a slower processor, it doesn't have a disc drive either. But, it does have SSD drives.
