@pjotr320 what reaction do you get from people when out and about riding the velomobile? Do you have any trouble at all? Im thinking of making one and I just wondered what the general reaction from people about when riding was.
That's a multi-answer questions. It depends on the area you ride in and the way you behave. You'd better ask Canadian velonauts what their experiences are.
@pjotr320 BOO-YA! i live in the US, and i tought the clostest place that sold em was holland or the netherlands. do you know by chance if Bluevelo has a website?
canada seems cool. Its not a good time to be living in America. we're so divided socially. nothing but finger pointing and name calling bout whats wrong with our country. kinda makes one wonder what it was like during our civil war in the 1860s
the killin part was an overstatement yes but not the other part bout our messed up country. my background is that of a 23 year old socially mindful new york stater
I was a Conscientious Objector during Viet Nam. If drafted I would have been a medic.
There are a lot of messed up things in this country but from the perspective of my short life, we have come a long way and are moving foreward to a bright future beyond my life time.
Do you ride a bicycle? Have you ever ridden a velomobile?
I'd like to live in Vancouver some day, but I've been to Canada only once. I had the flag on before I went there. I simply have to go back again, I thinks it's love!
This video is recorded close to my home in the Netherlands.

Great Velo and I am just fascinated by them!
I am Canadian and sure it is a great place to live, but the US is also a good place to live with some great folks in it!

How did you come by the name "Yavixa" and what dies it mean?
MewFushisDad 3 years ago
I wanted a sexy and unique name. I made it up and used a Y and a X to make it sound and look very special.
It's inspired by native Canadian names. I first was thinking of giving her a real native name, but I coudn't find one that I really like.

A Very Cool Name. I know what you mean, I to am thinking of a name to give my Quest to be.
My girlfriend said I told her that I was going to name it after her but I never promised her that..........LOL

Well, I know some velomobileriders in the US, and they're still alive, so it's not that bad. Anyway, I prefer Canada. ;-)

With all due respect, your statements about people killing each other in the U.S. are rather over generalized.
I was wondering just how old you are and what of you life experiences to be making such a statement. Just curious.
My velomobile will be delivered just in time for my 56th birthday and I plan to ride that machine for many many years to come.

Socially mindful is the way to be.
Stand up and be heard.

I've built a few velomobiles in Texas, and people here really like the way they look! (I gave them a European microcar sort of look, lol!)
