To prove said statement he traveled all over Kanto and became the very best by both becoming the champion, making his rival his bitch, and by stopping a multi-million dollar organization. Well in his search to become even stronger he went up to Mt.Silver, where he unfortunately died of either hypothermia or fell off the mountain. But how can u fight a ghost? some of u may ask. Think back to Gen I and the remake you fought the ghost of Marowak. If further theories are wanted like it.

@Uriel6178 Well then how do u know he left and didn't disappear into thin air LIKE A GHOST, because ur character blacks out afterwards, or the screen goes black and he is gone once u come to or whatever. Red's spirit is awakened every time a new or the same challenger beats the elite four and champion because Red needs 2 test the new champion. 2 prove that he is dead, his mother hasn't seen him in at least months if not years b/c everything is covered in dust and she said no news is good news.

@RisingHammer No Red isn't dead,after he beaten the elite four and accomplish his goal he decided to train in Mt. Silver where strong Pokemon are. Also the reason he disapear is because like most main characters when they lose they whited out.

@RisingHammer Well, some people say (God Forbid) that Red is the BROTHER of Ash. Now, I don't believe in this theory, but when Red finished his journey, he gave Prof.Oak his Pikachu for Ash. He left for Mount Silver, and was never seen again. Before he left, he told Brock to take care of Ash, which is why Brock helped Ash through his journey, but left after Sinnoh to get back to his gym (different story). This explains why Pikachu is so powerful. I don't believe in it, it is what I heard.

And here's another fact i hope you know the gen IV games are MUCH more advanced than the Gen II games....most of the items in Gen IV like the light ball didn't exist back in Gen II and Original Red was on a snowy mountain it's just they couldn't include snow in the gen ! and II games
