  • Does the law enforcement in that city also follow this policy?

  • incredible... poor humanity level...

  • I thought the south praised its self on its God fearing ways?, how do you think these individuals will fare when it comes judgement day that they stood by and watched a fellow human being lose everything? Some people don`t have five dollars left after payday no matter how hard they may work. This is a disgusting side of human "money driven" nature. What ever happened to help thy neighbor? I would have grabbed a bucket and given it my all before I would ever watch anothers house burn to the ground

  • so raise every ones taxes $75 bucks. dumbasses wont pay it on their own.

  • Capitalism!

  • ITS A HOUSE!!!!!!! WHY LET IT BURN? JUST BECAUSE $75 DOLLARS DIDNT GET PAID WE LEAVE A FAMILY WITHOUT A PLACE TO LIVE?!......what if it was your house america......what if you have nowhere else to go now that your house is in flames. im ashamed and DISGUSTED. common sense is all i ask.

  • she's as dumb as a stump for not paying

    i have no sympathy

why do idiots think they can live this life for free?

  • regardles of how this transpired, paying for something that is supposed to be carried by taxes seems like extortion.

I can see a thug standing there in a nice suit saying something like, " you just never know when an accident might happen. all those family possions and maybe even, god forbid, a family member might NEED that uh, what's the ticket, protection, yeah protection from unforeseen traaaagidy".

Can you hear the whiny northern mafia voice?

  • @docchocobo Oh and before you trolss and flamers say anything, my family has many firefighters both from the past and present. All of whome I showed this, all of whome thought this was disgusting. That said, they also said that the family should be liable for the actions of not getting the pets out of the house. None of them said they would just stand by and watch it burn. They would at least TRY to get it under control or out.

  • This is starting to spread throughout Europe too. In Spain they want us to pay tolls on roads already paid with taxpayers money, and there's these cases in some autonomous regions where people who's been unemployed for 2 years is losing their rights to receive care from public health system. They're destroying everything everywhere. I don't know when people will decide to fight back, but I'm sure that violence will arise any day. When governments don't care about you, will you care about them?

  • $75 fee wasn't paid because they felt it wouldn't happen to them.dummies

  • @BUDDAWG2004 so tell me again why you pay taxes there?

  • This is a local issue which does not apply to the vast majority, and doesn't have anything to do with Federal policies or the morons in DC.

Each State has it's own regulations for how communities may provide various public services, and the taxing authority for them as well.

This vid the suggests the Fire Dept charges an additional fee on top of taxes, but for all we know its a rural Volunteer Fire Dept with no taxing authority and the trailer was a dope house outside the city limits.

  • This is America. Pay or die.

  • What´s wrong with you Mr Money?

  • soon they'll have to pay for "police protection" too. What does U.S. goverment do with your taxes?

  • LOL. Of course it's not a failure of Libertarian ideology, is it? Oh hell no! It's criminal fire fighters. Figures.

LOL. This is a fantastic example of why YOUR way sucks and the "forced robbery" (as you sensationalize it to be) of your taxes is a necessity. Just sayin.

  • what the fuck are we paying taxes for if there's an extra fucking fee for the fire dept. to come. What a fucking load of cock work, useless fucking firemen don't do shit 90% of the fucking time anyway it wouldn't have killed the lazy bastards to spray the poor ladies shack with the fucking over-sized hose. Water doesn't cost that fucking much i use cubic tons of it to water my fucking grass every day

  • Every State has their Own Rules of Operation. They say Tenn is Different, and it's a Volunteer Fire Dept only, paid by residents and not paid through Taxes annually ???

  • @MrTommyboy9 that in itself is a terrible deficiency of their government to not have this vital part of their infrastructure handled.

  • DO NOT DISLIKE because it's wrong. LIKE IT SO MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS.

I know it's a fucking shame, but if you dislike it less people will know about this!

  • Gives a new meaning to firefighters when they come JUST to watch a house burn down.

  • Que vergüenza

  • Firemen cost money, in fact in Europe the goverment take that money off from your pocket without asking, in US taxes are lower but its your choice whether to pay...

  • Fucking retarded fire fighters.

  • Ahora tiene sentido la frase:

Tienes cosas bombero, ves fuego y preguntas si hay que apagarlo.

Dale a me gusta si vienes de meneame

  • Estan locos estos romanos.

  • What a fucking joke of a community.. I hope your fucking city hall burns down you racketeering cunts.

  • That's not a fire department, that's a gangster style extortion racket. Fuck those people they put the brave, noble name of firefighters.

  • Those homeowners should sue the fire department. They had the equipment that their taxes paid for. What's next? Cops for pay? Will people have to pay off cops to investigate murders?

  • Another fine video of the government doing what they do best!!!!!Nothing but hurt its people unless you have money

  • only in america lol

  • So, as funding for these services dry up are all the different departments going to start demanding payoff's for services. They should have put the fire out; Then said, next time it burns. Maybe the owners would pay then. But where will this end. Will we have to give a credit card number before the police respond someday? This is so unprofessional all the fire fighters should be fired and replaced. A dangerous precedent!

  • This is bullshit pure and simple. These people pay Federal, State, and LOCAL taxes. These taxes pay for public servants such as firefighters, police, and other first responders. If the fire department needs more money they should have appealed to the public in the form of a tax increase, not a letter in the mail asking for $75. If they think they don't have money now wait till they get sued by accidentally letting a home burn down whose owner paid for the service. What comes around goes around!

  • Another reason to vote out Republicans.

  • I'm a veteran Firefighter/Law Enforcement Officer. This has to be a volunteer dept. a professional couldn't do something like this to a family for any reason! Why did they answer the call? To prove something? They did. These types would have left the house 100% destroyed from water damage if they had fought the fire. I can think of several ways the county could resolve your issues. The closest Prof.Dept.Would have responded if requested...No excuses for this low life stunt, none!

  • How did those firefighters absolutely know there was no one inside? I guess the same computer that told them they didn't pay.

  • Doesn't work that way @TheUSMetalhead. Without the annual fee they are unable to maintain equipment, supplies, training, etc.

  • These "firefighters" and the mayor all need to be replaced immediately.

It takes a sorry bastard to sit and watch a home burn and not do anything about it. It isnt about money, its about the moral obligation to help a fellow human being.

For those of you who arent aware, this is the 2nd time this has happened in that county.

Last year a home burned and the pathetic firefighters stood by and watched.

  • Fuck you David NEIL CROCKER!!! AGAIN FUCK YOU DAVID CROCKER

  • This guy needs to get off the taxpayer dollar. He has a big head u know the hero firefighter where he lives is another perk for this --ick fill in the blanks with a pr or d i dont care. Haha. u go hero!

  • Like class warefare?

  • And get an insurance salesman job.

  • This is bullshit. Did they pay taxes on everything they bought in that county much less the friday withdrawl from their friday paycheck(state taxes) . That paid for those trucks firefighters salaries. This is complete bullcrap the insurance companies did not buy this equipment why do they matter. This guy should b fired for his stupid answer.

  • Pure insanity!! This so-called Mayor should be put in jail for endangering the lives of people who might have been killed, all because they didn't pay the $75. With insanity running rampid in this so-called 'Country', Maybe the next step for these INSANE idiots is to charge people for police protection!?!? Coming soon- "Police let rape/murder/burglery continue in homeowners house Because they did not pay the local FEE." You would THINK this would not happen, but just look at this story.

  • On Tumblr, it's 'Fuck the Police'. In this case, it's 'Fuck the Firefighters'.

  • There should be a federal law to prevent foolish, life threatening local laws. This is criminal!

  • If they arrived on the scene they should be held accountable. Who paid for the gas to drive to the fire? If they knew it was someone that had not paid, why even go just send the police, at least they can make sure everyone was safe.

  • @Paladian 1.The fire department is in South Fulton, TN. 2. The couple lives well outside the city limits and is not subject to city taxes so the city had no obligation to respond. 3.The city OFFERS "Rural Fire Protection Service" to people outside the city limits for a fee of $75. 4. This couple didn't buy the service. 5.The house was fully involved by the time firefighters arrived, so it was already a total loss.

  • @ArxVirtus still should have put it out,it's about morals..what if your mom's house was subjected to that? I hate little pricks who look up the info then paste it in a comment to sound smart..WTF is wrong with people putting a price on something that's priceless to others..ignorant fucks

  • @alecboi84 - So you hate people that present FACTS. Your position is to judge an entire situation on one small piece of info - facts be damned? YOU are the ignorant fuck. If you would READ a little bit, you'd see that the house was ALREADY FULLY ENGULFED when the firefighters arrived. The woman that lived in the house said that no amount of fire protection would have mattered because the flames spread too quickly. But don't let a few FACTS stop your blathering.

  • @ArxVirtus the story was about the FACT that fired departments WON'T put out a fire even if it can be saved dummy...I've heard of several similar situations..and where in this clip does it say/prove that the fire dept, arrived after the house was fully engulfed beyond saving? The reporter even states at the beginning they arrived & let it burn...so shut your cumdumpster homo..

  • @alecboi84 - Hey assmuncher. It's stupid fucks like you who get all your news from video clips. If you'd take minimal effort to read, maybe you'd find some info to fill the space between your ears: kfvs12.com/story/16201834/home%C2%AD-burns-while-firefighters-watc%C2%ADh A little more than half way down: "She says no amount of fire protection could have saved her trailer because the flames took over so quickly." Now fuck off, jizzmop.

  • but we have plenty of money to firebomb?

  • The Town thinks they are the mob. Pay the protection fee or we watch your house burn to the ground

  • How about this? No annual fee. You have a home fire, the fire department comes, puts out the fire, you own them $75.

You will never see this in a state that's run by a democratic governor, dems would at least not allow this insanity. Bill Haslam is a republican scumbag, as they all are, he had occupy protestors arrested, he stopped funding Planned Parenthood, he overturned a law that protected gay people in the workplace and he allows working class families homes to burn down. What a guy.

  • This is sick... We are still "The United States of America", right?

  • This brings up thoughts of the protection racket the Mob used on businesses in the 30's. They would send a couple of goons to the proprietor and explain what a shame it would be if their joint burned to the ground or got robbed just because they failed to pay for protection.

  • By the way in Georgia u pay the cops if they have to come to ur home for anything !

  • @1969BALLER very good mate. See FamGuy the other night?

  • crooks !

  • Why do I have the feeling that none of these firemen have to pay this fee? I hope they get sued.

  • I don't understand why they even showed up if they weren't going to put it out in the first place. I mean, did they even bother to be like, Hey, dumbasses - give us $75 and we'll put it out?

It's a crappy law or whatnot, but hell. You can't cough up $75 to protect everything you own and hold dear? Priorities...

  • annual fire protection fee ON A TAX PAID public service = mafia

  • @KresTKroVee - If you would take a little time to understand the FACTS in the case you might understand the issue: 1.The fire department is in South Fulton, TN. 2. The couple lives well outside the city limits and is not subject to city taxes so the city had no obligation to respond. 3.The city OFFERS "Rural Fire Protection Service" to people outside the city limits for a fee of $75. 4.The house was fully involved by the time firefighters arrived, so it was already a total loss..

  • @KresTKroVee You nailed it, our taxes that we ALREADY pay(both sales and income) fund public works. What's next, you call the police to report an intruder in your house and get "Are you a paying customer?"

When you collapse in a resturant do the taxpayer funded paramedics let you die if you didn't pay the additional service charge. This is unconstitutional at best, sadistic at worst.

  • What a shame!!! Put out the fire and sue the owners for the fee!

  • @carrieharris If you would take time to understand the FACTS in the case you might understand the issue: 1.The fire department is in South Fulton, TN.

  • Tennessee Code: 39-16-402(a)(3) "Refrains from performing a duty that is imposed by law or that is clearly inherent in the nature of the public servant's office or employment;" AKA.... a firefighter (public servant) neglecting to put out a fire.

  • I still don't think they should have let the house burn down.

  • Sucks, but they shoulda known better. :/ BETTER SAFE than sorry.

  • Listen you m--f-- I not no girl, moonchick is my wife, and sob you have said enough

  • again?

Just give them a fine of $200 or something.

  • @GTASA911 - That would make too much sense!

  • Those firemen are angels for saving that poor woman's home. In another dimension of course.

  • @Copperfoilhat - Good post :)

  • Totally asinine .. they were there and did nothing. Oh that great Christmas spirit in the hearts of many (NOT)!

  • Gosh, my BF wants me to move to Tennessee next year, i live in the UK & i just pay my taxes & i can just call an ambulance or fire services and go to the hosptial without worrying about a large bill. I know the UK is not perfect but i am having 2nd thoughts about the US. I love the country and the people but not how the goverment is running it at the moment, then again our goverment sells us to Europe. I hope these people try and have a good chrisitmas.

  • @TheWhiterose1603 Don't worry, it's just a house. Just property. And money and possessions supposedly don't matter to Leftists anyway. So what are y'all whinging about?

Some person "rich" enough to own their own house lost it. Shouldn't you be laughing?

  • "They also say the number of fire subscriptions have gone up in the past year, possibly due to the incident involving the Cranick's that gained response from around the world." Well what do you know...the example DOES work! kfvs12.com/story/16201834/home-burns-while-firefighters-watch

  • @ArxVirtus - Since it doesn't say if it went up by 1 or 100, I'm going to guess that's a public relations statement.

And since u ADMIT that the WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD was NOT allowed to pay ANYWAYS, what would they have done if the fire spread to all the homes there?

  • what city?

  • @thekingoffunnyfaces south fulton, tennessee

  • This is so low !!!!! money hungry uncaring people what is this world coming to.??????

  • @TheMoonchick Yes that fee is so low - only $75 to get a bunch of guys to train and maintain equipment then come speeding around to risk their arses saving your property as many times that year as you need them.

Money hungry uncaring people who wont even pay them such a paltry sum - what is the world coming to?

  • @IRONMANAustralia You wouldn't act so big if it was your home .!!!!

  • @TheMoonchick I wouldn't whine about it either. That's what you don't understand.

  • @IRONMANAustralia dont tell me that junk if it was all you owned get real.!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMoonchick You're an idiot. I've been down more than once. I get back up again. It's no big deal - really.

  • @IRONMANAustralia Smart ass tend to your own business dont talk to me jirk!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMoonchick The kind of response I'd expect from someone with nothing but an emotional appeal to offer in the first place. Can't stand the truth can you? What happened to the Leftist, "it's only money attitude"?

I don't just hypocritically say it or have a double-standard about it. You lose money or property, you get to work and make it back. You take risks, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you take responsibility for your decisions and the results. It's called being an adult.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - The 'ADULT' thing would have been to help put out the fire so ppl can still have a home.

The immature thing to do is stand around & watch someone's house burn down when you're career is a firefighter.

  • @rumpole33 So true thats so right have a heart..

  • @TheMoonchick If you've got such a big heart explain to me why you want some poor guy working at McDonald's and renting to subsidise the fire protection cost of someone who owns their own house.

  • @IRONMANAustralia were do you get off making fun you jerk!!!!

  • @TheMoonchick So you can't explain so you're trying to change the subject? Thought so.

And where am I "making fun" exactly?

  • @IRONMANAustralia What subject ? you moron i dont need your input get a life jerk..

  • @TheMoonchick Right on

  • @TheMoonchick

Translation: I'm losing the argument, so I'll pretend I didn't care about it in the first place and take my ball and go home.

    @elboyo2009

Yes I agree with whatever you say even though I have no argument or justication or anything intelligent to add. You go girl.

  • @IRONMANAustralia You get to work hows that stupid with no jobs you jerk look around you sheep your asleep .

  • @IRONMANAustralia Greed isn't always needed you know...

Ah yes, a lifetime of memories burned down. They will just shake it off and get a job at McDonalds and someday make their money back. Because we all know having all the freedom in the world is the best thing, some regulations? NOOOOOO! BOOOOHHHH!! We don't care about other people, if someone gets in trouble then I shouldn't care. Let them sort out there own shit! You greedy dick.

    Stop watching Fox News;)

  • @GTASA911 so right and i agree 100%

  • @GTASA911 No - just don't FORCE other people to sort out their shit for them.

And it's not about what you think is nice, it's about what works.

Also are you implying there's something wrong with someone who works at McDonalds and doesn't have a house?

What's wrong with having had a house and lost it? What entitles someone with one to any special consideration that someone without one doesn't get? You can bet the guy working at McDonalds renting is indirectly paying fire protection.

  • @TheMoonchick Great post

  • @IRONMANAustralia I think you are the idiot, smart retard

  • @elboyo2009 Thank you elboyo !!!!!!!

  • Why doesn't the locality either raise taxes to include the $75 charge OR just make it a totally private fire service? I mean, why pay taxes AND pay a fee on top? It makes no sense...

I think if it had been entirely private, people would have had a more realistic expectation - that their house would burn if they didn't pay. I don't go to McDonald's without money and expect to be fed.

  • @KagarBeardtooth good questions. It is probably a political move, and it is also likely that the citizens who elected this mayor are happy with this type of set up. It alienates folks of socialist persuasion, but makes total sense to a libertarian.

  • @freezerlunik - libertarian = happy that ppl are homeless right before Xmas while the firefighters stand by & do nothing, so long as it teaches the family a lesson, right Mr. Ebeneezer "I want my $75" Scrooge?

  • @rumpole33 I want people to spend their money and risk their arses to protect my property while I do nothing. If they don't I'll get upset and demand it be taken from them at gunpoint.

    That's real greed.

  • @rumpole33

    Way to demagogue the situation.

I don't think ANYONE is happy about this, least of all the firefighters. More likely, I'll bet the fire service/department/whatever was pissed and frustrated at these people for putting them in that situation after not having paid their dues.

Like it or not, the home owners DID know the risks involved in not paying and chose not to anyway. If they were able to pay the firemen after the fire started, they ought to have paid before.

  • Another house goes up in flames because of the "Pay and Spray" program. And whats just as worse... these Fireman still got paid and probably got overtime=Z

  • @TRYER25 Yeah it's called "work". Maybe if these occupants did $75 worth of overtime they'd still have a house.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - If the firefighters are so damn eager for $75, then they should have billed the family after they put out the fire! That way they could claim service was rendered without payment and sue the family!

  • @rumpole33 Oh it's ONLY a paltry $75 AFTER the fact isn't it. If that amount of money is no big deal then pay it BEFORE.

  • @IRONMANAustralia They couldn't pay it. They weren't eligible. Regardless, rumpole is an idiot. They lived outside the city limits so the city was under no obligation to put the fire out. Even if they wanted to, the house was already fully involved by the time they arrived. Read this: kfvs12.com/story/16201834/home-burns-while-firefighters-watch

  • @ArxVirtus - So u ADMIT that it's NOT their fault that they couldn't pay it since it was the law that they couldn't pay it in the first place!

And even if the house was already fully involved by the time the firemen arrived, that STILL means there's WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD that could catch on fire!

BUT NONE OF THEM were allowed to pay the fee!

  • @rumpole33 woulda coulda shoulda but didn't . Obviously they saw no additional threat because nothing else burned even though they didn't spray a drop of water.

  • @ArxVirtus - OBVIOUSLY, the firemen would have done NOTHING IF that whole neighborhood caught on fire. All for over $75 and a lack of common sense.

  • @rumpole33 I agree 100%

  • @TheMoonchick - Thanks :)

  • @rumpole33 - You must be a total asshole. Look at all the comments on your channel of all the people telling you what a moron you are.

  • @ArxVirtus - Oh no. I should succumb to the peer-pressure of ppl who think that firemen should burn down homes cuz kids might come by later and scavenge thru it.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - If they want the $75 for services rendered, then let them bill for it when they actually DO THE SERVICE!

  • @IRONMANAustralia Ya I know they were working. They are working like most government workers. Standing there, doing nothing. Guess who paid for them to do that? Those owners didn't. You did. They might as well did something, if they are getting paid for it. Not meant to be a rant. Just stating the obvious. Cheers

  • Plain simple extortion is what the city is doing. Its like a gang forcing you to pay protection money. What assholes. What the hell are they paying taxes for? Or are they covering it up by calling these taxes "fees"?

  • @kondomonster Oh no, the taxes are being used to pay for all the other dumb shit you soicalist retards think you're entitled to. No money left for firefighters. Sorry.

If you're worried about it demand they cut something less important - that's how adults live within their means.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - Actually taxes already paid for the fire dept, since the town of S. Fulton already paid them to exist. The $75 fee is for services outside of S. Fulton. So even if the family did pay all their taxes, none of it would go to a town outside of their area.

  • @kondomonster - Hey, dumbass. The only people that are FORCED to pay are the ones that actually live in the city of South Fulton (via their taxes). The people OUTSIDE the city (like this couple) have an OPTION TO BUY rural fire protection for $75 per year because they don't pay city taxes.

  • Yeah, great society you got there USA. Every man for himself. Essential services provided as in all modern countries - but - for an additional cash price.

    What a corrupt disgrace.

  • @rm2551 No, corruption would be not sticking to the deal and using everyone else's money to put out their fire.

Hope whatever they enjoyed whatever else they spent their $75 on.

  • @IRONMANAustralia The fact there has to be a deal is wrong. Pay us, and you will get the essential services you taxes should already ensure we all get. What if everyone did not pay? Are you saying no fire brigade in that case? A user pays system for essential services in a modern advanced democracy is akin to corruption by the state. This is supported by the fact the fire brigade stood by while a house burned to the ground - not put the fire out then asked for the cost or more.

  • Should have paid.

  • @plainbob13 - The firefighters should have put out the fire, and then billed them. But that would make too much sense. Also, the firefighters probably had sadistic fun in standing by watching a house burn down right before Xmas...

  • @rumpole33 Is there some better time of the year for your house to burn down?

After Xmas, oh noes all the kids presents!

Two weeks before Valentine's Day - ZOMG!

1.3 months after the Spring Exquinox - oh the humanity!

  • @IRONMANAustralia - Oh no, whatever Xmas presents were in the home were burnt to ashes. No tears from a rightwinger, correct?

So what time of year do YOU think is best for firemen to come out & snore while ur house burns down?

  • @rumpole33 I'm not even religious and I'll still credit the bulk of right wingers for their level of charity. They're the first people to pass a hat around in a situation like this. You can tell they are not Left wingers because they don't put a gun to your face and ask for your money, or run down to city hall to pass a law to force everyone else to be "compassionate" with their tax dollars.

Also right wingers tend to have jobs and the extra money to help people with REAL problems.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - If rightwingers are so charitable, then why did this republican mayor say their home burning down is a lesson? WWJD?

What's ur obsession with non sequiturs involving guns that nobody pointed at anybody's face?

  • @rumpole33 Good post

  • @rumpole33 Charity is something you do with your own money by your own individual choice - not something you do with other people's money.

If you went to you bank and they said they drained your account and gave it to Guide Dogs for the Blind, you'd understand that simple concept.

Don't pay your taxes if you want to see a gun pointed at your face.

  • @IRONMANAustralia Ah yes, let's let the infrastructure rot and the same with security, healthcare and what not more. In your world everyone who simply can't earn money maybe thanks to some disorder will have no chance, and everyone who does make money keeps it to themself. Well, you know what, you actually live in that greedy world. The top 1% does have over 40% of the money in the USA yet many people have the hardest time making some money themself.

God you some smart son of a bitch!

  • @GTASA911 I'm incline to agree

  • @GTASA911 Got to agree 100%

  • @GTASA911 Bullshit.

You Leftist retards want to use the democratic process to try to force people to be compassionate, but if you actually can, (have a majority vote for "compassionate" laws), then you don't need to. You obviously live in a nation of mostly compassionate people.

You're offended by the one person who chooses not to give to a cause YOU think is important because you're a tin-pot totalitarian little fuck who thinks he should have the right force everyone to do what he wants.

  • @IRONMANAustralia well said! Bastiat called this mentality "philanthropic despotism" stated differently we will force you for you own good, what better way then having the sanctity of the victim wrapped in good intentions, anyone who reads history knows the results

  • @IRONMANAustralia I or someone else doesn't care you want to be some greedy selfish dick but stupid people like you are the ones who destroy the government. And yes, I do life in a country where government tries to help everyone. Sometimes they go a bit to far but we don't have such crazy numbers of unemployment, everyone here has the right for healthcare and some people do better and some people do worse at life but all in all everything goes fine here for MANY people, not just a few

  • The mayor is cute!

  • @KlingonSpider I wish. I'd cancel my payment to the cops and buy a big fucking gun with lots of bullets.

  • I remember a similar case about a year or so ago.

  • @WinterHaven - Yes, it happened last year at the same county, Obion, w/ the same mayor & the same county firefighting system. It happened to Gene Cranick. The same firefighters just stood by watching the house burn down w/ 3 dogs & 1 cat trapped inside. This same republican mayor crocker said then too that it would teach ppl a lesson to pay the $75 fee. Cranick offered to pay it to the firemen if they'd put out the fire, but they refused.

  • Comment removed

  • This is stupid beyond belief. They should have saved the house and then sent them a bill plus a penalty fee. Win, win.

  • @GladiatorGT - That would make too much sense for Tennessee and this particular republican county & that republican mayor w/ the completely republican county committee.

  • @GladiatorGT You are stupid beyond belief.

If car insurance worked that way, and you crashed your $50,000 car, then they gave you a new car and charge you a penalty fee - guess how much the penalty fee will be.

Just a ballpark by your genius calculations if you please. Take your time.

  • @IRONMANAustralia -It's not equivalent to an insurance. The firefighting fee is a SUBSCRIPTION, not an insurance. It pays for service, not a return of monetary benefits like an insurance policy does. 2 DIFFERENT THINGS.

  • @rumpole33 You're seriously retarded.

  • @IRONMANAustralia - Oh, that's a witty comeback. You should patent it cuz that's the first time in the history of mankind anybody has thought up that brilliant comeback.

  • @rumpole33 Not the first time someone thought of saying two words are different when the principle is the same either. It's not a bailout, it's a stimulus!

  • @IRONMANAustralia - Bailout = GWB bailout of the banks = gave them money to create NO jobs. Stimulus = pays ppl's salaries.

    You = need a dictionary.

  • @IRONMANAustralia Its not a tax. Its a fee. What a bunch of douchebags.
