dumbass u will burn it up like that at least put the pipe back on and drill a hole or 2 into it so it will be mean sounding and functionall longer i know frm expirence
i love that bubble-machine sound, haha. and actually you need at least a 6 inch pipe on there to not mess up your rings. I have about a 14in straight pipe on mine.
i have achieved so far 80 km/h on straight road and about 100 km/h downhill (the needle from the spedometer went off the scales). According to the scooter's certiicate, it is considered as a 49.8 cc and the maximum speed is 45 km/h. When i gought this scooter it was limited to the maximum of 45 km/h, the limiter was a simple plate mounted on the variator assembly to prevent the expansion of the variator
@vuuvje more cc = more power, with more power you CAN compensate for more friction, so you CAN go faster, but you'd need to removed or replace the limiting factors like speed limiters and in this 4stroke case, the crankshaft eventually.
So what infuence does have on the piston rings by running the engine with no muffler? i guess the engine gains 1 hp by removing the muffler! it's a 4 stroke not a 2 stroke. 2 stroke engines get damaged by not using any muffler.
You would be surprised. My friends subaru sti got 70 hp roughly from removing the exhaust. Now divide that by about 25 and you get nearly 3 hp per 100 liters. Now on a little scooter, since the exhaust it starts with does much less than the exhaaust on a car, and about half of that power was from removing the 3 cats, you get about 1.2.
every little bit of back pressure makes a 4 stroke that much slower. I wouldn't doubt that that gives it at least 1 more hp at the wheels, and 1.2 at engine
@sleeksilver you dont get anything, 4stroke exhausts mainly just prevent dirt from entereing the exhaust connection on the engine, diverting hot air and filtering out chemical crap
@HanzelikR bullshit no offence, 4 stroke mufflers has resonance inside - helps sucking the mixture thru intake (in that litttle time when both valves are open). For example. Easily seen on small engines. When run with no exhaust loosing power definitely.
what size of carb

@KawasakiRocks124 The same original carb.

so u get a new kit and put no exhaust on? u like throwing money away or summit?
DoPe993 1 year ago
@DoPe993 4stroke exhaust is a joke, if you want 4stroke exhausts to be usefull you need a very very very long tube-shaped exhaust.

i have about the same scooter and it has no tuning ,, but it goes around 90 km/h :)

What is the maximum speed that this 82 cc engine can achieve?
What are its legality conditions for Toronto? Will it excellerate to more than 32km?
If yes, couldn't you simply maintain a 32 km max instead of going faster? Wouldn't it be considered a scooter like an electric bike?

haha fuck off!
if you have more cc,, only your acceleration will raise.. not your top speed

smart arse, brand new kit so why not blow the rings by not having a exhaust on. retard

Oh right sorry was thinking 2 strokes lol
my bad

You aren't getting anything close to a 1hp gain by removing the muffler.
Not even a 1/4 of a hp.

A tuned exhaust will give you a bit of a gain, but not removing it.

well running a 4 stroke without a muffler also causes a bent valve and a burnt valve...
