  • ROB is the heavy metal.

  • Halford brutal !!! the metal god

    Judaas metal gods \m/

  • In my opinion the very peak of his voice really was in 1986-1988!!!

Just listen to bootleg of the Fuel for live tour and Mercenaries of rock tour and you'll hear what I mean! During the painkiller era he screamed too much and somtimes out of tune, it was still incredible, but too excessive...

But that's just my opinion! I really love the ways he sings now, so much from the Heart!!!

  • He kicked ass in 1986, and the videos you see from the Fuel for Life tour are probably from the Electric Eye dvd.

  • Agreed Feet

  • @Feetmaniac Screamed alot during ram it down tour as well.

  • put this song on first thing in the morning to start your day off right, GRRRRRINDER.

  • ya this song rapes ass

    Love priest(hence the username)

  • i reckon robs vocal peak was 1981-1988

  • ye,. i agree, especially around '86 in the fuel for life tour. But you've got to admit, he was best at this song around the time this was filmed. His voice really suited it then.

  • poor quality.. but I love Priest \m/

  • Best metal song

  • Between 1986 and 1990 robs voice was at its best...:)

  • Agree'd, his vocals were great then. But Rob was stated saying his voice was at its peak in 1978 during Stained Class.

  • Yeah...On Stained Class he started to experiment with the distortion in his voice(notice that vocals were rather clean until SC)and fucked it up. It's a pity. He had a great voice then. And now he is sounding like a cockroach which you stomp on. No offence to all JP fans-I am one of you, even if Rob would be whispering the lyrics on the stage.

  • @DaveTheMetalGod It's a no brainer! Vocals on Stained Class are untouchable.

  • poor Rob, he was really struggling with this one....

  • I think he rocked this one in the 90's. It was in the early 80s wen he struggled with this one. If you watch the live vengeance 82 dvd he's struggling with pretty much evry single one on that dvd

  • @nathan0212 I disagree! Live vengeance kicks ass.

    Also,check grinder 1984 from Montreal.

  • Grinder = Dangerous mother of a song!

  • EXCELENTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

  • If this was the '90 concert at the Palace in Auburn Hills, I was on the main floor about 6 rows from the stage. This is one of my all-time favorite JP songs.

  • nice man, did you go to DTE two weeks ago?

  • that's when the thunder and the wind shout back!!\

    love this song

  • I second that big time.

    This song rules.
