Time is inverse like multiplication and division or frequency and wavelength, Enfolding and unfolding moments of spacetime. Multiplication-positron wavelength and frequency+/- Electron frequency and wavelength-dividing the standing-wave can go through both slits. Their pilot wave through the other dividing waves form an interference pattern. When we turn on the detector forms new oscillations multiplication collapses their electron-wave function as thay enter either slit, forming only two bands.
@yoda6523 In this theory time is inverse because it is formed by the quantum wave particle function that is an inverse sphere. We are all within our own probability w-function looking out at the uncertainty of life! Just as a square room would be an inverse square for someone within the room looking out.
Could Einsteins equations for the contraction of space and time forming the time-reversing singularity, be not the end of time, Rather, the very beginning for each new atomic-ray Nuclei. Relative only unto itself from the very beginning? Virtual pairs have to be wound up before thay can be unwound. Therefore, we have the coupled Dirac and Maxwells equations which are time-reversal invariant leading to de-constructive constructive interferences between various atomic transition amplitudes?
You seem to be rather ignorant of the difference between a universal concept of absolute time and the measured time by a clock. Absolute time is a constant with only one dimension. Measured time is what we use with Relativity. The clock will vary depending on the motion reference frame it exists in. There is absolutely NO ENTITY OF TIME in the universe; only the property of motion of physical entities; time is a concept required for science to communicate MOTION.
@MsWanderer1 If this is true (time is just a concept required for science) how come we have time as a variable ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π in Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle and a curvature to spacetime in Einstein’s relativity?
Newton's equations use absolute time. Einstein's space-time is a physical entity and just another name for ether, quantum foam, and so on; don't let the name tags confuse you. Dimension in physics means "a quantitative measurement"; that also means physics is limited to our ability to measure; thus quantum uncertainty. Our current "Standard Model" does not provide a suitable paradigm for interpreting the numbers. You may be surprised if you use a bit more skepticism; I was!
@MsWanderer1 There is no absolute time in this theory just like Einstein’s theories on relativity the rate that time flows will be dependent on the mass of the object forming the spacetime. Einstein’s relativity superseded the notion of absolute time.
"Einstein’s relativity superseded the notion of absolute time." WOW! Has anyone informed NASA of that? They are still using Newton's equations!
You're thoroughly brainwashed; you need to learn how to think and not what to think! I'm impressed with your text book knowledge but not with your actual understanding of that information. You're trying to educate with your meager lifetime knowledge and lack of experience; I'm well beyond text book in both knowledge and experience.
Just imagine how great the world would be if the bright minds of it focused their energy into things that are really important instead of filling their minds with theory (why?) and pointless perpetual paradoxes.
@agentgooner007 That's an incredibly ignorant comment. Many "really important" things have come about as a result of theoretical physics. Get a clue before you open your mouth, retard.
If we set up a detector the interference pattern will only disappear if the detector is turned on. If we then turn the detector off the interference pattern will reform. This is because by turning on the detector we create a photon electron coupling creating a new quantum particle in space and a new moment in time. When we turn the detector off we remove the photon electron coupling and in time the interference pattern will reform
@nickharvey7 They have turned it on without looking at the results (and destroying them) and it still makes an interference pattern. It rests solely on whether or not we observe the results not the detector is on.
@danradl Many people think this but only when the detector is turned on does the interference pattern collapse. If they turn the detector on and do not look how do they know it still makes an interference pattern?
Yes observation may play a part in the actions of matter but that is already known. The burning question is why does the result depend on our choice of whether or not to try and extract knowledge from the experiment.
Therefore, whilst it is partially true that we create photon-electron coupling by observing the experiment we create this from the presnce and activation of recording equipment alone, not to mention the presence of light. Therefore, the observation of the experiment has no bearing on the results, only our choice to read the results of the observation, which may be made pre or post experiment. This completely dispells you theory which does not explain the experiment & is full of innacurate info
This video does not explain the double slit experiment. In the double-slit experiment, the interference pattern was seen in the detection screen when the experiment was not observed. However the same interference pattern occured after the experiment and particles were observed but the detection screen results destroyed before being read. Whenever the results were read the pattern was standard result and not interference.
This just happens to be exactly the information that I am looking for. Would it be possible for you to point me to an analysis of the experiment that confirmed that the interference pattern did not occur when the electron path results were read, but did occur when the path result information was destroyed, regardless of the time at which the results were read or destroyed? It would be incredibly helpful. Cheers. =]
