Io penso che sei Italiano dal accento, e allora ciao a un video molto informativo...Anyway (switching back to English) I have the RC50 which is a very good looper. My question is whether there is a way to increase the internal memory of this machine? Maybe via the midi inputs? Any ideas?
Very useful video! I was looking for one just like that. just one doubt, i'm not sure if you said that in the video... maybe i didn't get it. Is it possible to program the drums to change while the song is played? The RC2 has only loops... the question is if i can change the drum patterns! tks a lot!
@abfaria83 You could but that is unfeasible during a performance: you have to hold the button that, incidentally, stops the rhythm, wait and select the new beat.........
To my (and a lot of other players) horror the RC-3x series has latency when switching phrases: Just enough to completely throw off timing. This completely ruins any plan you might have to create different patches for song sections..
Afterwards Boss admit the error but state that this is not a "phrase change function", but a "song change feature" They've basically removed phrasing altogether, and now call it "song switching". Crap. Long story short. Stick with older RC's or digitech.
For RC-2 to RC-3 direct transfer you can use the RC-2 Output socket and connect it to the RC-3 Input. The overall sound quality is not so good but you have the job done. I suggest to lower the RC-2 output volume as needed, in order not to distort the sound. From the RC-2 Output you could enter the RC-3 also through the external IN connector but, due to the different impedences, the final result, again, is not the best.
i have this problem, whe i record a loop it sounds fine, but when i loop it back and play over top of it, what im playing drowns out the loop, so i can only hear the loop when im not playing, kindof pointless!!
That's a very honest review. Well done and thanks!

Nice review! Just one question: do you think it's possible to use more than one loop station at the same time?

Rc-3 seems more compressed - can you adjust this?

@tailoredplus
To me, RC-2 and RC-3 have the same (good) playback quality.

thank you very much. You bring up critical points about the bug and why the rc-2 is still around. I am guessing you have a software background. :)
Thats not a minor bug either.

Be sure to overdub your first loop for the exact duration of the recording.

How much is the rc-2? And do you know if they are going to discontinue it?
