I keep noticing that female rappers like Yo Yo, Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, MC Lyte and others who were popular in the 90s are WAAAAY better than more than HALF the male rappers out today. Even the female rappers now (Shawnna, Nicki Minaj, Trina, Lil Mama and even Khia lol) are waaay better than the male rappers that are out now (with the exception of a few). Dudes need to start stepping their game up lol.

Yes that's EXACTLY what I was saying. Lil' Kim's verse is better than half of the rappers that are out today. But the other half of the rappers in the industry (Including Nas, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco etc....) hold there own and actually made good quality music including flow and punchlines. And it is VERY sad that they are extinct. It's like they don't get as much air play as the male rappers or something. Idk :(
