Infateshand-- Jon Brion is a self-taught musician, composer (Eternal Sunshine, Punch-Drunk Love, Synecdoche NY, etc.), and songwriter. For whatever reason you "don't like him", to base any judgment of him off of a minute long blooper clip demonstrates an extreme lack of intelligence on your (and nearly every other negative commenter's) part.

i did not judge him in base of what he did as a musician composer songrwiter .i judged him for what he transmits for what i feel. and it was opinion.i can like him or not and that doesnt depend on what he compose wrote etc. you are right in saying that its wrong to judge someone by 1min video but ive seen others of him as well. its a different thing what you say. i respond so you understand why i say it. its opinion. you can like him. this is not a question of intelligence i think.

Jon's probably one of the sweetest, most brilliant an dhumble men ever. sad that someone judges him based on this one minute clip. his record "Meaningless" is one of the best albums written and put to tape and I find it horribly sad that he has no plans to make a second album ever.

it could have been great had Atlantic not left it on the shelves for years.

he truly is a wickedly talented guy and one of the finest producers and engineers in the world today.

Seems like Elliott Smith did some of his best work with Jon Brion. If anyone has ever tried to save someone they love from killing themselves with drugs you can imagine the agony Jon probably feels over their fallout and Smith's death. Jon Brion is an amazing talent in his own right.
