The theme is titled appropriately. Even listening to this is making me feel a sense of loss, although I have had some tragic losses over the past few years. On the other hand, hearing this gives me some kind of energy, some inspiration to never give up myself. This is the most beautiful piano piece I have ever heard and it will tell me not to lose hope just when I begin to. The way the melody is nearly drowned out puts more emphasis in the background, I like that effect. Now I can renew my hope.
@thelegendary35 I think I like your interpretation better than mine. I thought that the person was trying to run away from something and that the thing they finally gave into at the end, was actually a good thing for them to succumb to (in the long run).
@CheekyVimto08 sometimes but when the left is still playing it'd just be better to drop the right hand all together and play lower. which is what happens later on in the song
@CheekyVimto08 Well the melody shouldn't get drowned... So whether it was the point or not, this song is great, but I would also prefer it with the right hand sticking out more.

This is great and gives new hope and confidence. But please correct the headline. "I never give up" not "I give up". ;-)

@LBOrgue: actually it is "I give up" and not "I never give up".
