i never got bored playing bioshock. but thats just me, i think its a 9 maybe a 9.2 but its not perfect.

The part of the story I mean is the actual immense twist after Hephaestus. It's fantastic, but damn it is a bit confusing. The audio diaries, which I listened to all of the ones that I had were great. I hope Bioshock II adds more backstory still through the audio diaries. I find it a bit cocky to announce Bioshock III as well as still making Bioshock II. That's a real risk in my opinion. Steinman is my favorite character. :D

They announced BioShock III because they wanted to protect their property from a buy-out by EA. Having a known-for-sure second and third installment will keep them ahead

I meant cool, not fool. I agree that the secrurity is a bitch. If you get the camouflage tonic by snapping photos of the houdini splicers with the seemingly useless reasearch camera, the security isn't a HUGE problem. This game for me gets a 9.0. The art deco is where the game really shines of course. The story was pretty confusing honestly if you understand what part of the story I mean.

This game is really overrated, but still great. The music, physics, graphics, and overall presentation and plasmid originality are definitely top-notch. Sadly, it's really only fun for a while because, unfortunately, I got to Hephastus and my disc slid further into my 360 and it got scratched. THANK YOU MICROSOFT! This game is pretty fool, but gets old quite fast, but this game is at least a 4-star worthy game, still not 5-star material. I got so far then realised I was on hard difficulty. FUCK!

and it's funny, because I can get this game for $25 from a buddy of mine....And the only reason 'why' i'd buy it is because it's graphicly impressive and the atmosphere is great...Now why do play games? to have fun. BioShock isn't.

I totaly agree. The thing is, sure the graphics, presentation, art direction, sound and overall idea are fantastic, but the most important thing isn't....and that's GAMEPLAY. it's terribly generic, bland and boring. The story is confusing, the environments start to look all the same and get confusing, and the combat is flat out dull and boring. It's a one trick pony, and is overall a superficial experience. Pretty water effects can't save this borefest.
